Really surprised by this place - in a good way. Racuchy we're very crunchy and great flavour. Good value for money. Kompot exactly as I remember it. Will be back!

After trying some of their savoury dishes I wasn't that impressed. The textures were a bit off and there wasn't that much flavour. Zrazy was probably the best of all the dishes.

Amazing!! - Edit
I've been there last year and I still miss it. It was sooo good, I loved that you could choose two side dishes from three options each. Also the homemade lemonade was the best one I ever had

Lovely Food, Service meh - Edit
We were looking for traditional polish dishes ✨vegan version✨ and I was very happy to find it at vegan friends kitchen! We both had the vegan roulade, with a side of kluski and bigos / potatoes and kiszonki. I would recommend the bigos as a side! The food was Good but the service 🥲 the (only) waitress was obviously very sick and coughing all the time which was very concerning. We already ordered so we stayed but it really did Not feel okay for the waitress to be working in that condition and putting others at risk. She did not seem to care either.

Comforty vegan polish food - Edit
After a few days of nonstop ramen, we were looking forward to more local fare. And that Vegan Friends Kitchen certainly delivered! We had the potatoe and vegan cheese dumplings with cream which were pure comfort food. Five dumplings may not sound like much but were actually a decent (if small-ish) portion (for a very fair price!). The chicken kiev with roast potatoes and pickled cucumber salad was also nice. What we really want to highlight, however, was the very friendly service. In Berlin the service tends to be a bit hit and miss if the staff is young and hip, in Warsaw we found things to be the other way around: the youngest and coolest places were the most friendly!

Best vegan roulade i have ever had - Edit
Definetly a must try. Portion size is filling and the price is fair.
Read moreWe choose one main and side dish and a salad.
The roulade is very recommendable all side dishes we tried were delicious and the baked potatoes are our favourite.
The self made rose-lemonade was also very good.
All in all this is a nice restaurant if you want to try vegan polish cousine.
Pros: Many different dishes to choose from, English menu and friendly staff

Focused on meat substitutes but very well done - Edit
I’m not a fan of veganizing traditional meat dishes but if it must be, this is the place. The interior is more of an eatery than a restaurant, a wee bit crude, but the food is hearty and has a very authentic taste. The choice of drinks is somewhat limited, e.g. the only non-alc beer is Żywiec (which is hardly fitting the ambition of this place) and of the fresh juices listed in the menu there were none when I visited. The staff is friendly and has a good sense of humor

Mamma Mia 🤤😵😵 - Edit
Very, very delicious. Dangerously delicious. Had pierogi (~Polish dumplings) with a heavenly sauce and filling. Also had beetroot soup with a filled croquet. As a side, polish pickle.
Read moreExtremely delicious dessert - apple pie with pear sorbet. Turkish coffee with cardamom as a finnish
The only hope: just don’t get too popular so I can visit again, and pleae, please never ”chainify” with what I mean that the place would loose it’s soul and not be able to keep the standard it has achieved now. Because now it is just perfect. #Veganuary

Loved this place - Edit
I came here a couple of times during my trip to Warsaw, was really impressed. It was relatively quiet compared to the packed vegan ramen place a few doors up but in my opinion people are missing out if they skip this place.
Read moreWell-located on the main drag, the young lady working here was extremely friendly and spoke great English. Their broth with dumplings was a perfect starter. For mains, first time I had the schnitzel and second time I had the chicken kiev. Honestly, both were slightly overcooked for my taste and a little too cripsy to the point of being almost tough, but I don't want to deduct a star for that because they still tasted great. The sides - potatoes, dumplings, and cabbage - were all excellent.
Overall I really liked this place and highly recommend it!

Inside Falla - Edit
Hard to find - inside Falla. Loved the beet soup. Generous portions for the schnitzel plate (which I didn’t love, but that’s more of a personal preference than reflection on the quality of the food).

Fantastic - Edit
It was a little tricky to find, but it’s basically operating out of Falla, a Middle Eastern restaurant. When you receive the menu, flip to the back pages to find Vegan Friends Kitchen items. I asked the server whether she preferred the minced meat cutlets or the soy cutlets in sauce, and she recommended the latter. I enjoyed it very much and washed it down with a cup of homemade compote, which was filled with fruit. I munched on the fruit from the compote while devouring the blueberry dumplings with sour cream. You can’t get more Polish comfort food than this (except maybe at Wege Polka)!
