The only products that contain dairy are Bundaberg Ginger Beer and cows milk. Open Mon-Fri 8:00am-3:00pm, Wed-Sat 4:00pm-8:30pm, Sat-Sun 7:00am-2:00pm. Kitchen closes at 2pm on weekdays and 1:30pm on weekends.

Everything from the moment we walked in was great, the service from the staff was friendly and made you feel relaxed! The extensive menu made it hard to choose however felt everything was going to be amazing! Had the ramen and also the the croffle stack and they both blew my mind away! They Absolutely smashed it

Largely disappointing - Edit
The food was very tasty and well presented. But it was the many smaller things that let them down e.g. our table needed to be wiped down, we had to fetch our own water, and the coffee was cold. It wasn't busy when we arrived, so I'm not sure why these basics were overlooked. We don't go out all that often so when we do I really look forward to a good experience. Overall I left feeling a little disappointed and probably will not return. We didn't take any photos of the food because sadly by the time our food arrived (it didn't take long) we just wanted to eat and run.

Came here two days in a row for breakfast. LOVED the Vega omelette. It was my friends birthday the second time and the lovely owner/chef brought her out a sweet croffle for free and a pupachino for the pup. Lovely and quick service would definitely recommend! Lunch and dinner menu too.

Previously read some great reviews about this cafe, and was excited that they were now open @night. It was a rainy night when we ate there, sat outside as the inside was way too bright. There were two young girls running around screaming and jumping on the tables/stools outside, one of them I think was the owners daughter ?

We were both disappointed with our meals, mine was very doughy, greasy & oily, didn’t look like any of the photos I’d seen online. My partner found their meal was quite boring & uninteresting.
We bought a raspberry & chocolate muffin, and a brownie to takeaway, tried them later the same night and found both were quite stale.
Thought it was a bit overpriced.
Couldn’t say the staff were unfriendly or friendly … found that a bit odd.

We walked here from near Roma St, it’s hilly so be prepared! The breakfast menu looked really good and it was so hard to choose. Even once I’d settled on savoury! I chose a croffle stack. It had kale, halloumi, tempeh, avocado and carrot bacon. The combination of flavours worked really well and the croffle was so soft. Really nice. I had a soy cappuccino too which was good. My partner enjoyed the iced chocolate and the avocado and mushroom toast.

Easily one of the best vegan cafes in Brisbane and even all of Australia. The menu is creative with lots of options you won’t find anywhere else. Presentation is beautiful and the food tastes just as good as it looks.

My first time at Vega cafe and just WOW! The food is incredible, so fresh, colourful and the flavours blew me away. The team were so friendly and kind! I took my parents here for the first time and they commented it's their favourite vegan restaurant that I have taken them to so far! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Had lunch here today as having a weekend in Brissy. The food was not only delicious but so beautifully presented. The staff were lovely too. If I were a local I would be a regular customer trying everything on the menu.

Read moreHoly moly, this place is insane in terms of taste. I was feeling like a savoury breakfast and went with the garlicky bagel as I LOVE garlic. The photos of it honestly don’t do it justice. It was so full of flavour! Even the tofu scramble (IYKYK 😂). Super filling, too.
Their hot chocolate is also super rich! And the owner/chef was so friendly.
My friend had the oat chai latte and Bircher muesli and enjoyed both, although she’s not much of a maple syrup fan and the muesli contains this.
We went for breakfast on a Wednesday at 7am and were the only ones there which is sad because it deserves to be busier!

All I can say is that Vega Cafe is simply amazing. The service is fantastic, the food is perfect and it is very affordable. I have been there twice now and I think that I will never be disappointed on future visits. The best food I have enjoyed in Brisbane!

We tried out this cafe based on same rave reviews on a Vegan Facebook page and were not disappointed. Beautiful flavours and it was very obvious that a passionate chef took great care in in his creations.
