Beautiful fast food! - Edit
We have tried a couple of vegan places since being here and not enjoyed the food, luckily we found this gem! Uapami is the best fried chicken substitute I have ever tried! The food is incredible, the nuggets are HUGE (what we would consider a big boneless fillet in England)! Id recommend learning a slight bit of Polish or using google translate as the lady speaks no English but she is very lovely!

Gdy lokal serwował jedzonko w 100% wegańskie często tam bywaliśmy gdy wpadaliśmy do Krakowa, niestety już tam nie przyjdziemy przez to, że wprowadzili mięso do oferty. Mega słabe posunięcie.

This used to be my favourite fast-food in town. They gave up on their values and added real meat to the menu. What a shame! They still advertise as 100% vegan, now they have written “100% vegan” and “we have nuggets with chicken” below 😂

Online they still call themselves a "100% vegan fast food", but they offer chicken now. Didn't even announce it anywhere. Very disappointing to turn their backs on their previously vegan messaging like that.
Read moreWhen I questioned them about their spot not being vegan anymore, they said something about it being vegetarian now, which means the people that work there might not even know what vegan or vegetarian means.
Drawing an arrow from the "cruelty-free" sticker on their window directly to "We have nuggets with chicken" is an interesting choice.

I'm disappointed and baffled, I don't understand. On the shop front it is written "100% vegan" "vegan" but also "we have nuggets with chicken".

Stumbled on this wee place while waiting to check into our hotel. Some decent options however the seitan we felt lacked seasoning. Overall it was a decent wrap and reminded me of a kfc toasted twister. The quality/texture of the seitan was varied - some were soft and squishy while other parts were hard and chewy. Price wise was very reasonable.

Uapami is what it is - vegan fast food, a real lord of the fries situation with ketchup forward burgers and fabulous chips. It fills your belly, it’s a burger that doesn’t upset anyone and it’s definitely one for the ketchup fans, but it doesn’t do anything extraordinary or different to other vegan places, or stand out from any other typical vegan burger I’ve had before.

Contrary to what HappyCow says, this place was still open at 11pm, which was very convenient as we arrived late in the city. Everything is seitan-based and very affordable - I was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes based on how much we paid! The photo I’ve attached is pretty ugly tbh but we were just grateful to find somewhere vegan that was still open so late 🫶

This place is all vegan and right in the middle of Kazi’s food square which is amazing, but their nuggets are the anchor of their whole menu and they’re good not great. I believe they make their seitan nuggets long ahead because they’re a bit tough and stale at times.

I had the New Buddha burger. The portion was generous but difficult to eat. I made a mess as there was no cutlery. The seitan patty was flabby and too thick, there was too much mayo, and the onion rings in the burger just didn’t work. Be aware that there is outdoor seating only. This may be nice on a hot sunny day but at 7:30 on a chilly Spring evening it wasn’t comfortable. If you want no-frills junk food to eat outside and the weather is warm then it’s ok.
