The only 100% vegan restaurant was very near our airbnb (within 2 minutes by foot). We went there twice when in Klagenfurt. Was a gladly surprise! Room for everyone, very nice, beautiful, menu with tons of options, and they have a daily menu including a soup + main dish for only 9€. The desserts were amazing, prices were fair! Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant, mostly vegan - Edit
Formerly fully vegan restaurant, unfortunately serves meat now, but non-vegan dishes are cooked separately. Varied menu, including vegan versions of many classic Austrian dishes. Starters, mains, desserts and drinks all elegantly served. In season there is a pleasant outdoor seating area. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

TriVida ist ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Vom freundlichen Kellner über leckeres Essen und toller Restaurantphilosophie. Es ist alles Bio und gentechnikfrei. Wo es vermeidbar ist, wird kein Soja verwendet und das meiste ist selbst gemacht. Auch Preislich absolut OK. Würde hier immer wieder essen gehen, wenn ich in Klagenfurt bin.

Pros: Alles Bio, Soja wird vermieden wo möglich, Allergene klar deklariert, ohne Gentechnik, Tolle Gerichte, fast alles selbst gemacht

Former vegan gem in Klagenfurt - Edit
I visited this restaurant with my whole family (other than my husband all non-vegans) in August 2015 and we had a whole variety of different dishes and desserts and most of them where absolutely delicious and everybody enjoyed them! There was lovely indoor and outdoor eating. Will never forget this experience! Now serving meat - very sad and disappointing...

So we had a starter soup from the daily menu, a main course from the regular menu and a dessert :)
And wow..All the dishes were well prepared and taste really good!
The staff is really friendly.
I would recommend this place and definitly re visit this place in the future. :)

Wir hatten die Tagessuppe, die perfekte gewürzt war, weder zu scharf noch zu mild.
Zur Hauptspeise wurden uns Kattoffeln als Ersatz für die ausgegangen Crêpes angeboten - was deutlich besser ist als das Gericht gar nicht mehr anzubieten.
Und ich hatte die Kärtner Kasnudeln, die geschmacklich top waren.
Die Nachspeise war atemraubend und in einer guten Menge - so wie jede der Portionen.
Übrigens wird dort nach Personal gesucht um auch wieder abends öffnen zu können (wie vor der Pandemie) und jetzt im Herbst und Winter durch zu kommen, bewerbt euch :)

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles auf der Speisekarte ist vegan und Mega lecker. Die Kärntner Nudel (die übrigens besser waren als die originalen meiner Oma) werden selbst gemacht von der Mutter der Besitzerin des Restaurants. Die Besitzerin ist super nett! Kann ich nur zu 100% empfehlen!

I had the meatballs with roasted potatoes and onion mustard and it was super yummy. For desert I had the first vegan Tiramisu in my life and I wasn't disappointed. I'll be back soon!

Outstanding restaurant we visited in Aug 2020 during summer holidays. I wish something similar would exist in the capital of Austria. Very nice personnel, amazing green garden with big old trees, top notch food, drinks and desserts. Just wow.

I am INLOVE with this place! Firstly, I loved the ambiance of the place, very light and airy. Their outdoor seating area is super cute, it includes a small garden and has several tables outside.
Read moreAnd of course the food. Was. Amazing. We had the Bio Nachos, Salmon Cocktail, and Vegan Mac n' Cheese, all of which were super tasty. I would say the Bio Nachos were a bit too salty for my liking which in my opinion takes away from the tasting the cheese sauce. Also one should not be fooled by the "Salmon" Cocktail, it does not really taste like salmon however it was one of the most delicious vegan meals I've had (and the presentation is amazing for this meal). The Vegan Mac n' Cheese was wow, I have no words to describe it. Probably the best vegan mac n' cheese I have ever tasted. If anyone goes here that is the one dish I would HIGHLY recommend!
For desert, I had the Chocolate Mouse which was just heavenly as well, although would probably be a bit too chocolate-y for people who are not as obsessed with chocolate as I am.
Also the waiting staff at this restaurant were beyond friendly so would highly recommend this place :)
