Not open

HappyCow states they’re open on Sundays and they are not. Really wish we could have tried some of their sandwiches.

Cons: Hours on HappyCow are incorrect

Hello Lmy612!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so sorry to hear that you were not able to try some of our sandwiches. We are open every Sunday, from 1pm to 8pm. As we only do online pick-up and delivery orders at the moment, we might have been busy in the kitchen when you came by...

We hope you will give us another chance - you can place your order online and we will make sure to keep an eye out. If you can't find us, we recommend giving us a quick call. Sorry again for the confusion, and we really hope to see you soon!😄

is it fair to leave the restaurant a bad review because of Happy Cow?

Could not find this place

Tried to find and try Torn today, but could not find it. Not sure if the Roadworks on the corner, prevented us, we followed instructions, but still had to give up.

Pros: ?, ?, ?

Cons: Hard to find, ?, ?

Hello AnnaontheVeg,
As mentioned on HappyCow and all the other platforms, we are located inside Creme de la Crumb coffee shop. On the northwest corner of Granville St and Cordova St, take the stairs up to Granville Square. You will see a grey patio: that's where we are😄Also, if you are lost, you can just call us and we will be more than happy to guide you. Our phone number is 778.222.1107

Closed with no explanation on the webpage

We went out of our way to find TORN to pick up a picnic for a day out. It was quite difficult to find as not only is it within another cafe it also is in an office building which looks like you need a pass to get in (you don’t). Unfortunately when we arrived it was closed although we were well within the opening times stated on the website. The creme de la crumb staff had no idea why although they thought something might be broken in the kitchen. Fortunately they had a lovely vegan wrap we picked up instead. It felt very odd to sit in the cafe as a family with a 4 year old as people were filtering down in suits for coffee-meetings and to grab a desk lunch.
I was very annoyed there was no notice on the website, we could easily have planned differently to try one of the many other vegan restaurants we wanted to see on our holiday.

Pros: Creme de la crumb has a few good vegan options

Cons: Website not updated of closures, Mainly office staff eating there
