Owner has poor attitude and customet service

I ordered a sandwich. The outside of the edges of it were hard and stale. I was with family who were served just before me. I ate the middle and left the stale bits. The serving lady felt them and said she needed to speak to the owner.

But my main issue is that this owner was not open to customer feedback or customer satisfaction.

She could have apologised and offered me a toasted sandwich or bagette. Instead she got cross and defensive and was very clear that the problem was me, for complaining. I found this place on Happy Cow as I was visiting this area. I strongly advise you avoid it. I read after this horrid experience on trip advisor that they use the same knives and chopping board for meat, dairy and vegan food preparation. Also I asked for the non vegan coleslaw to be left off. It wasn't replaced by anything but I was charged the full amount as listed on the menu. Don't you just hate that - when vegan means to the proprietor taking something off, not replacing it and taking the same money from vegan customer as from the non vegan. Urghh.
