I called in on an afternoon out in Victoria Park. After managing to get the attention of the woman behind the counter, I asked about vegan options and she said the kitchen was closed. So I asked whether they had any tapas-type stuff, like bread, hummus and olives, that I could buy to take away and eat in the park. She just repeated that the kitchen was closed. No apology, no eye contact, no smile. There was food on display on the counter, e.g. cakes, though presumably they weren't selling any of it? I asked for a tea and was served that. It was 3.02pm. The opening hours on the door said it was open until 4pm. Glad I was just passing and hadn't gone there specially.
