We just showed up and it’s apparently closed down😒 - Edit
My partner and I saw that the last review was only a few months ago so we came to the laughing Buddha. The signage is the same and the stairway is still painted the same but when we got upstairs we were given a menu to a different cafe ‘sunshine’s cafe’.
Read moreI only got a tea because the rest of the menu looked the same as every other menu we have seen so it wasn’t as inviting.

The Laughing Buddha Cafe has simply moved - just a few shops down the road to a bigger location... Please look for The Laughing Buddha banner near the entrance to Gau Ghat on the lake side of the Main Market Street. Please don't be fooled by the cafe that has taken the old spot - it has nothing to do with us :)
