We have been here a number of times and it never disappoints!! Great little place set in an underground cellar with penny/coin floor. Food is amazing!! Warning!! Once you find this place you will be back most days!!

Uitgebreide kaart en heerlijk eten. Alles is vegan en vers gemaakt. Het restaurant is gezellig en heeft ook een paar tafeltjes buiten. De buffalo cauliflower en patatas bravas waren geweldig. Enige minpunt is het horror toilet, dit is buiten en ontzettend vies.

There was so much choice on the menu at The Kasbar, it was almost impossible to choose. Every dish has a fun name. I went for βTropic like itβs hotβ which had coconut crusted tofu, pineapple salsa and a sweet chilli/garlic mayo sauce. It was delicious and a generous portion. I chose a healthy(ish) option as I usually find it frustrating that the only vegan option on a menu is a burger but I was very tempted by the βVegan Junkieβ part of the menu which had lots of burgers, buffalo cauliflower and quesadillas to choose from. For dessert I had the Biscoff cake which was definitely for the sweet-toothed. The buttercream was super-sweet but the cake was moist and slightly nutty. I had a mocha which was the perfect blend of bitter coffee and dark chocolate, not too sweet. It was all really good value for money too. Iβll definitely visit on my next trip to Gibraltar.

A few seats outside. Staff is helpful and quick, the vegan burgers with 'brie' are tasteful. Delicious soft drinks. The bathroom is desastrous, hard to find and dirty (September 2021).

As the only vegan in my family, I brought my mum and brother who were very reluctant to try, however, they both really enjoyed their food and were shocked it was vegan! Great atmosphere and music. Beyond burger is incredible! Will definitely be back!

This place was extraordinarily amazing, everything you would order would be a real delight. Visited many times and left a 5 star review... However, they seem to have changed their chef, it's not exaggerated when I say that our last visit would be the last.
Read moreThe sloppy Jack burger was cold as if it was taken out of the fridge, the bun out of a supermarket bag. The Kasballs pitta was so extremely full of alioli that it came out everywhere and distroyed every other taste in its way. The Buffalo Cauliflower was OK, but far away from the last we had in November/December 2020.
We left disappointed and with a bad feeling, disappointed and annoyed to pay Β£40 for something we wouldn't normally eat for free. Anyway, I truly hope that the Kasbar will get back on track as we really loved it there.

Everything we had was delish. My boyfriend isnβt vegan and loved it too. Nice to have a mix of classically vegan food along with some βveganofiedβ regular dishes. Pretty decent price. Lovely small friendly place. Big portions!

Great place to meet for lunch, they even have a few outside tables and very delicious dishes. I like to take non vegans here and watch them enjoy their meals. Highly recommended.

The place is quite nice, the tea and the ginger shoter turned out to be nice choices for this afternoon. π

I LOVED it here! Everything was so amazing. The food was unbelievable, the architecture and setting was beautiful. The atmosphere was so calm and at- home feeling.

We went here after the walk down the Gibraltar mountain so we were extra hungry and enjoyed everything.
The staff also couldnt be nicer.
Ive tried a loot of vegan restaurants by now in lots of cities, but all in all this one was the best for me in my opinion.

Fav Veg Restaurant in Gib - Edit
Kasbar is one of the few places in Gib with a variety of healthy, vegan food. The restaurant itself is cozy in a grotto-like setting. Do yourself a favour and try the cauliflower buffalos wings!

We've been here a number of times at lunch times, since it opened, and a couple of times in the evenings. Both evenings were disappointing, with the food and service falling short of lunch times offerings. I suggested that if you visit this quaint all vegan watering hole, that you go at lunch time. It's fabulous to know that all the food is safe to eat in an establishment.

A lovely restaurant in the middle of the old town. Everything on the menu looked great, but I had the mushroom and walnut bourguignon, which was delicious. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and excellent service!
