Friendly Staff, Great Food, Amazing value
Warrington isn't known for being progressive or nice in any way, but this place is a ray of hope. The lady who works there is extremely friendly and chatty and the food is completely vegan and delicious.
It's very new so there's room for improvement (chairs and places to sit) but it is clear they have plans for the future and I wish them all the best.
My favourite part is the vegan cake. They usually have two flavours but they vary every time I come in. My favourite has been a hazelnut slice.
Pros: Friendly servce, delicious food , Relatively inexpensive
Cons: No where to sit
This little café is a REAL MUST!!
This little gem is now a sit-in café as well as a takeaway. The menu is fab and diverse with some lovely "comfort food" such as vegan Cottage Pie and vegan sausage and mash (both delicious!), as well as lovely curries, wraps and other goodies.
The food is fab and the portions are generous - my wife and I couldn't fault it at all! The owner (who prepares and cooks all the food herself) is incredibly helpful and friendly, as is her son who helps out at weekends. The cakes are made by her friend - they are to die for! The giant Jaffa cake is a must!!
Overall - lovely friendly people, a lovely atmosphere, scrummy food and good value. At last, we don't have to travel miles and miles to get great Vegan food!
There's no big shop sign up yet - just look for the window with tables and chairs! Open Wed - Sat. Cash only just at the moment - luckily theres a no-fee ATM about 30secs walk away at the Post Office!
As a footnote, they also sell an increasing range of store cupboard essentials.
Pros: Really tasty food - good portions!, Lovely staff, Good value
new owners
The Vegan venue cafe was taken over by a new owner on 10th June 2016.
The cafe is totally vegan which is so good if you want to eat somewhere with no meat and dairy in sight. The new owners are lovely and friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed.
We had a very tasty Sunday dinner which was great value and very enjoyable.
Pros: Tasty food, good value, great staff, friendly atmo, none
Brilliant

on a sunday!!!
Pros: staff, food , open on a sunday and at tea time
Cons: could do with more seats
Hidden gem
Only found this place because of Happycow and it was a great find. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. The woman who runs it is very friendly and a pleasure to talk to.
Pros: Vegan, healthy food, Nice people, Fair prices, Went out of her way to provide gluten free
Cons: not enough seats, not around the corner from me!
Brilliant Place
Ate here in December, couldn't recommend it anymore, the owner is a really nice person and the food is great!
Lovely little spot with great hosts
Stopped in for a bite and Jill welcomed us warmly and let us know they were out of cake and apologized profusely. Had Mac Burger which was served with chips and a salad. It was more than enough food to satisfy each of us. Looking forward to returning on Thursday.
Pros: Completely vegan
Homely and Welcoming.
I’ve visited The Vegan Venue twice now, a lovely little café in Warrington, easy to find. We found the café very friendly and welcoming, with a tasty menu, the curry burger was top notch! The cakes are delicious too, baked fresh on location.
Absolutely wonderful host, couldn't be nicer! If you’re in the area and need a vegan bite to eat, pop in! I’d say it would be an easy fully vegan stop for people with omni’s in tow.

Pros: Cooked to order, Friendly atmosphere, Easy to find
Cons: Nothing
Well situated, light cake, thoughtful garnish
Warrington sits between Liverpool and Manchester, and on the M6 between the North West and the South. I would recommend visiting Vegan Venue for lunch or tea for a nice treat. It was not much of a detour.
The meals were thoughtfully garnished with salad, potato salad, and other vegetables. I thought this was a nice touch.
The cup cake and carrot cake was light, which make a refreshing delight.
The staff was friendly. You may want to give them a call if the shop looks shut during opening hours.
lovely place
Very warm welcome. Me and my husband popped in today to have coffee and cake. We had chocolate fudge cupcakes which were delicious! Nice little cafe, with a warming and friendly atmosphere. The owner was very welcoming and chatty! We will be visiting again to have a full meal soon.
Pros: warm welcome , friendly owner, yummy food
