Not Worth “Trying Out”

Decorations are tasteless and poor. Jackfruit burger repulsive to look at and eat. Salads disgusting. The only saving grace is the patisseries but they don’t treat them well; reheated on filthy trays and taste as if they’ve been frozen. Never going back again and absolutely wouldn’t recommend.

Management at the time did attempt to mediate by not making us pay the bill, hence the two stars rather than one. Excuses were provided by management for the poor quality of food but it’s clear they were just excuses. Further correspondence from The Find has consisted mostly of shifting blame with dashes of belittlement and reductionism.

Pros: Management didn’t make us pay the bill

Cons: Expensive, Food is awful, Lack of effort to resolve actual problems

Are you sure that you have the correct Café?

Our award winning designer has worked on many prestigious establishments.

Our pastries are supplied daily by the award winning Salt Bakehouse and do not go on trays. They are delivered to and displayed in the cake cabinet in the cafe and if a customer requires them warmed then they go individually on the grill on baking parchment.

I am the owner and can assure you that I have never used “dashes of belittlement and reductionism” - I would have to find out why they were first!

I accept that there may occasionally be things that are not quite perfect at The Find, but repulsive and disgusting are not words that have ever been used about our food. All I can say is that if this is what you genuinely thought (and you are a genuine reviewer) then we are probably best giving each other a miss going forward.
