Cute place, adorable dogs! - Edit
Lots of vegan options, cute dogs and it’s right on the beach so you can watch the sunset while enjoying your dinner. No added taxes or service charges either unlike so many other places on the Negombo tourist strip.

We came here each day for breakfast, even though breakfast was included in our hotel price.
Read moreThey have a pretty extensive vegan-friendly menu, and the breakfast is really tasty and filling, with garlic fried potatoes, tomatoes, avocado on toast and kithul (palm syrup). You also get coffee (Nescafé) or tea included in the breakfast price.
Other menu items included burger and an apple tart, although we never managed to make it for those. They don’t serve alcohol, but allow BYO, and although they don’t have evening hours, I believe they will serve dinner if you contact them in advance.
The beach setting is very nice and they have the most gorgeous dogs, whom we found very entertaining!

We came for breakfast and ended up staying the day. A daughter and dad pair provide a beach side cafe/restaurant with fantastic grace and hospitality.

It took two weeks to find the best breakfast in Sri Lanka - Edit
These two know what they are doing. Drinks came out super quick and food not long after. We came for dinner and were so pleased with the amount of vegan options that we came back the following day for breakfast before our flight.
Read moreFor dinner we tried two of the several vegan burgers and the coconut chocolate milkshake. We didn’t have any money but one of the owners offered to drive us to the closest ATM at no extra cost. That isn’t just great service that is two people who care about their customers and are genuinely good people.
The owners even made an effort to find soy milk for me as they new I had been looking for it throughout the duration of my trip. When I came for breakfast the following day my coffee was accompanied by a glass of soya milk.
The vegan breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had, I could feel the love they put into it.
Thanks so much! You guys are doing a killer job.

A separate vegan menu with changing options. The owners were absolutely lovely and served me promptly and politely, even helping me out with what to order as I couldn't decide (everything sounded good!) Plus they had the most adorable puppy, an added bonus.

We stopped here after our flight and it was so good. A big vegan menu with lots of options clearly highlighted. Right on the beach front. We had the peanut butter smoothie which was delicious! My husband had the burger and said it was one of the nicest ones he’d ever had! I opted for the avocado salad which was flavourful and fresh - lots of seasoning. Everything is cooked in a trailer but it’s very clean.

We had the pappadoms and guac which was delish and the pumpkin waffle with oyster mushrooms and a vegan mayo and avo with fries and two fresh fruit juices and a fruit salad for $24 AU. Loved that it was in a shipping container by the beach. Lovely French couple owners. Not fancy but cool to chill with the pups and have lunch

Really enjoyed this little spot of about six tables and a four bar chairs. Run by a father-daughter team. Just the two of them so they keep quite busy but really do their best to serve everyone. Nice vegan menu available. I wanted to try the pumpkin waffle but went for the special: spicy Hawaiian burger with fries. The bun was good, veggies fresh, grilled pineapple was to die for, patty was soft but very flavorful from carrots, chick peas, oats, curry spices. Usually don’t like mushy patties but the flavor and freshness was so good so I just loved it all. Burger was so big I barely ate the fries. Iced tea with lime slices was so good and refreshing. Not too sweet, not too much tannins, good flavor. Hit the spot. A couple next to me got the vegan apple pie and said it was really good. I wanted to try it but just too full. A few dogs on the property. The pup Bianca was super cute and friendly but sometimes too friendly and pawed on your lap or pawed up on the table to check out your food. Nice location looking out on the water. Its not on maps.me or google (yet). I’ll try to add. Really nice spot and family, definitely recommend it!

Best food of our trip - Edit
This was hands down the best ‘western’ food of our trip. The container serves Omni and vegetarian options as well as having about 10 vegan options which are clearly displayed! Options include a crispy tofu sandwich, veggie burger, ratatouille, shakes, waffles and more. All the food we had was freshly made and absolutely delicious. Vegan mayo is available as well!

The owners too are absolutely lovely - a French man and his daughter run the place and were so insightful into the local area and the country as a whole
They use reusable straws which I loved and really care for their local beach and the local dogs which is something you don’t often see. Definitely a must go in Sri Lanka!
