A few good burger options. Taste was really good on the vegan kiwi burger. Has vegan bacon and meat like patty with Tofu and hash brown. Good price too

The OG Best Burger in Auckland - Edit
Honestly surprised to see I've not posted a review for this place. I've been going here for close to 20 years. Their Mushrooms, Burgers and friendly attitude are second to none.

It's historically one of the early Vegan friendly places in Auckland and it will be missed by many when it finally closes.
This review isn't that great, it's just a series a rambling, but the point I'm trying to make is The Burgerie is going to be severely missed.

Little hole in the wall burger joint on K road, not fully vegan but they can do vegan food! Ordered the vegan corn dog, nuggets, fries and a burger. We got there right when they were closing and he said it was no issue to serve us (yay! Sorry for being those people). Food was made pretty fast, and we were more than excited to eat it after hearing much praise.

We always go here over lord of the fries. You get more for your money. I am obsessed with the soya chicken burger and my partner loves the tofu mushroom roll. Fries are great too. We usually add mini spring rolls or something like that as well. Major cheat meal place!

Nothing fancy here; your bog standard fast food joint, but huge kudos for the great vegan range. Nobody buying vegan burgers and chips expects kale and quinoa so I don't know why others complain it's too manufactured. It's junk food, tasty and not too expensive. I'll be back.

I prefer the burgerie vegan burgers to lord of the fries. the burgerie really knows how to make absolutely great vegan burgers!! But lord of the fries is 100% vegan, whereas little old burgerie still feels needs to provide meat choices... hopefully that will change seeing as so many people are realising poor animals need us to change these days. Luckily the nz rivers are 60% destroyed by meat and dairy pollution, that's turning people vegan too! And the cancer! World health warnings say hamburger and bacon meat causes -18% increased risk of cancer per daily 50g, equivalent of one big mac and you've just eaten your way to a 36% increase in cancer!!

Ok, so not the best veggie burger I've ever had (like some other reviewers are saying), but pretty darn good. The burger was huge and had many layers to it. I left feeling very full and satisfied.

The man who runs this place is incredible. He is so friendly, so creative, and thoughtful. He makes it a fun stop, not to mention the vegan burgers are out of this world! He put my mind at ease right away, showed me the ingredients they use, brought out the food in the package too.
Read moreI tried to eat here as much as possible while I was around. It's not healthy food, but it's worth enjoying once in a while, that's for sure. Definitely one of the, if not THE, best vegan burger I've ever had from a place. They also offer nuggets and other fast food style treats.
It's not a vegan shop but I think we should encourage others to do like him and create an absolutely [censored]' vegan menu with positivity and love!

Wow, so great! I had the soy lovers and it was seriously something else! The tofu inside was almost like egg amongst the deliciousness of one or two of everything; bacon, ham, beef, hash browns, mushrooms, avo, lettuce, tomato and a couple of sauces to top it off... Just like a classic take away shop burger! And cheap toon Highly recommend this place!

Wow, this place was a great surprise. It's a little Chinese fast-food place. They offer both meat and vegan options, but mostly people order veg burgers because they are too good! Generous servings, cheap price. It's not the healthiest food in Auckland but, well, it's the best treat you can get! I loved it and I recommend it. The owner is super friendly.

Tony's burger bar has been a long term fixture of K Rd lifestyle! A classic kiwi takeaway joint with a few seats and always-sizzling deep fryers, the owner decided recently to get with the times and expand his vegan menu. It's a very impressive project with absurd fake-meat towers from the owner's dizzying junk-food imagination. Vegan food cooked separately and on a separate menu, seems Tony is keen to keep up the good work and make Auckland vegans fatter.
