utterly miserable

Owner of the cafe is clearly very passionate about coffee but absolutely no need to be condescending to customers. Not everyone needs to be a coffee expert to enjoy coffee and the confusing menu doesn't make things easier.

Cons: snobbery

The menu couldn't be simpler. It takes a certain arrogance to walk into a concept espresso bar and demand a Starbucks drink. You don't need to be an expert but ordering from the menu and selecting from what's on offer is a reasonable expectation. You think you deserve special treatment? It's not snobbery, is just how an espresso bar works.
