Most expensive restaurant in the area - Edit
If you're searching for good food, you're not completely wrong here. But if you also like moderate prices, friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere- go to the other Indian place in Castelo Branco ;)

Read moreThis place is different. The food is so good, I keep coming back. Even when I am not in Castelo Branco I sometimes crave the food they serve here.
I dream about the Gobhi Manchurian (must try) and the vegan garlic naan.
So many vegan options prominently on the menu. Can't wiat to go there again.

Amazing vegan Indian food! - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised to see a menu starting with the vegetarian and vegan options first... and SO MUCH CHOICE! The garlic naan was delicious, the white chana dhal too, and the basmati rice with cumin was cooked to perfection! I loved everything about this restaurant, even the fact they sell spices and groceries! I was even taught how to make chai with the spices I bought! I'll certainly visit again soon. I called the restaurant to check if they were open and asked if they had vegan options and the answer was not “Yes we have”, the answer was “We have a LOT of vegan options”, Indian people usually do not exaggerate, when he said a lot the meant a lot.

I was impressed by the amount of vegan options available, unfortunately I tried only a starter dish, but other seemed promising. Also I appreciate their effort separating between vegan and vegetarian. I would have stayed maybe if the atmosphere was better. The prices of the main dishes are mostly fair but for the staters I found them a little overpriced.

a marvellous evening for the whole family - Edit
frankly I couldn't have been more satisfied, the wife has never been so content, both kids ate like champions, personally I had three starters, a mains and a dessert, marvellous, rich flavours......each individual element seems present and yet part of a greater sensation.

The best restaurant experience I've had in a long time. Incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, the food was authentic, bursting with flavour, made with love, served quickly, perfect temperature. Prices are very fair and a huge selection of dishes. Something for everyone. If you don't find satisfaction here, I doubt you ever will. We will be returning as often as possible.
