Simply Hommus - Edit
This opened 19th March 2019. Tucked away along Liverpool Street down from the Green Pub (has toilet facilities). This hommus bar has simple menu hommus bowl with 2 choices of either fallafel, salad or tahini served with either sourdough bread or pita. $13. The serving were generous and very tasty hommus was outstanding topped with whole chick peas and coriander. Has limited barstools, caters for takeaways. Great use of NO plastic plates or cutlery.

Magnificent Hummus, Falafel, Topping, everything - Edit
This homely cafe served the best hummus Ive ever had and 2nd best falafel (1st being koshari korner) in the whole Sydney. I ordered the all you can eat (ayce) falafel bowl and was getting more and more delighted as my bowls get refilled. Their falafels are crispy and crunchy on the outside, but fluffly and juicy on the inside! Super delicious and tasty. The hummus toppings are diverse in flavours, the mushroom one being general favourite and my personal favourite is onion and salad (cant pick). Their pita bread is so warm and together with hummus... jeebezus... so comforting. During this pandemic they only have quite limited outdoor seating, but its even more memorable eating outside. Will be back and highly recommended

Phenomenal... Not to be missed! - Edit
We went for an early dinner on a beautiful (almost spring) evening and sat outside under an almost full moon. We felt transported and could have been somewhere in the Middle East on holiday at a local urban eatery.
Read moreTo make this experience even more special, the food was mind blowingly delicious and fresh, melt in your mouth flavours, and the owner the nicest, kindest person you could possibly want making your food.
We've been here before when they first opened and it was amazing then! But recently they have expanded the menu and it is stupendously good!!
You can't go wrong.....Every dish is delicious and so so fresh.
If I lived in Darlinghurst I would be eating here a lot...one heck of a lot. With food this good, this fresh, this healthy, and the nicest, kindest people, why wouldn't you?
Pros: The whole experience
Cons: None

Best falafel I’ve ever had! - Edit
Fantastic vegan hangout - or anyone's place for a quick Middle Eastern lunch. Visited after my manager stumbled across the bar on her lunch break a few weeks ago, and I've been waiting for an opportunity to go ever since.
Read moreI had the (super affordable) lunch hummus bowl special - $13 for a hummus bowl pita 2 toppings, and went with the tomatoes and falafel. The falafel were like nothing I'd had before: warm and peppery, and oily in the good way. Not sure if the pita is made on-site, but it was doughy and delicious -- just right for scooping!
I had a slice of baklava too (can't say no to a $3 dessert), and was really intrigued to see what it was like without the dairy butter and honey. Definitely not as sweet or flakey as I'm used to, but still delicious and I would order again because, well, baklava!
Sustainable, bio-degradable knives, forks, and napkins are a really nice conscientious touch. I hope eat-in diners are served with ceramic bowls to save throw-away bowls. Would love to see take-away customers encouraged to bring their own containers/tubs/cups as an added effort towards low-waste living, despite how it might affect the aesthetic of the business.
I'd be interested as well to see some different variations of hummus (spicy, red pepper, etc.) but the "original/traditional" works fantastically as it is.
Overall, great service, incredible food, and passionate staff - I really hope their success grows. They deserve it!
Pros: Entirely vegan, “Stamp card” - 6th bowl free! , Inexpensive

High quality - Edit
This is just a hole in the wall on Liverpool Street, between Darlinghurst Road and Victoria Street. It's a limited menu: they have decided to do just a few things, but to do them well, and, apart from the bread, it all seems to be freshly made on the premises. Excellent hummus and falafel, with various extras available. Super friendly staff. I'm delighted to have this vegan lunch option in the area.
