As a regular customer at scotts in the past it has been about 6 months since my last visit.

So for our 25th wedding anniversary we decided to do sunday lunch and to say the least it was so disappointing see negatives and positives below:


Starter was fine.

Both the mains were cold my wife had salmon and it was tasteless to the point she never ate it.

I paid a £5 supplement to have the sirloin of which the vegetables were cold and i honestly thought it was a kids portion one slice of roast beef about 5mm thick.

Wine was good 

Sparkler for celebrating our silver was the highlight so i think that says it all. 

My neighbour in largs asked what i thought of our meal as they had went on saturday night and they confirmed that they wont be back it was terrible wish they had said before we went on sunday.


Scotts needs to up its game and get back to what they did well in the past and thats serve good food and have happy customers coming back.


Hope this doesnt fall on deaf ears as its in a great location but for us and my neighbours bossums table will be the regular at the marina.
