Plenty of options, plenty of food.

A lovely atmosphere and a varied menu. We left happy and full.

Great food and service

Really enjoyed our food here. We had the tofu biriyani, superfood salad and chocolate lava cake and all were delicious. The service was fab too.

Lovely breakfast of avo toast with tofu

Vegan food not easy to find in Kandy so I was very grateful to come across Roots n Beans. Really close to Temple of the Sacred Tooth. Small place but decent amount of choice - all default vegan though they do offer cows milk on request. I enjoyed the avo toast with grilled tofu pieces. Hearty and filling. Good prices and they donate half of proceeds to charity. Recommend.

The burgers were not great

We had the jackfruit burger and sweet potato burger. The patties were crumbed and spiced similarly - not great.
The iced coffee was okay

Small and nice

Lovely small Cafe

I loved the Coconut Iced Coffe.

Not fully vegan:/

Tasty food but its not fully vegan. For coffee they use cow millk. But you need to aks for coconut milk instead.
