Now serving Breakfast & Coffe-Expanded Vegan Menu - Edit
Don’t let the name of this local gem fool you-their pizza is fantastic but there is much more to it. Think amazing vegan pasta dishes, salads, wraps, + gluten-free options. They're now opening at 7 am, serving amazing breakfast options (up to 11 am, but coffee drinks are available all day). If you’re visiting Atlantic City or any of the surrounding beach towns, you really need to take one of the bridges over to the mainland (Absecon, NJ) where you’ll find Roman’s Pizza House. The staff is friendly and will accommodate any/all special orders, the restaurant is spotless, and if you’re a local, you can also have your order delivered. Lots of vegan add-ons are available, including vegan chicken, pepperoni, sausage, and breakfast pizza & bagel sammies. Delish! Some of my favorite dishes include the vegan Stromboli with broccoli, spinach, and vegan chicken. I also love the penne with vodka sauce and vegan chicken. Their BBQ chicken pizza is fire! The sauce is amazing. And speaking of fire, their latest creation is an actual flaming vodka pizza, served to your table in-house with the flames still blazing! Very dramatic, but equally delicious. I had mine with vegan pepperoni and meatballs. Wow. Vegan Alfredo? Perfection! Even their salads are special. Try the Summer Berry Salad with their tangy, sweet lemon vinaigrette. Vegans-be sure to specifically request the vegan version of this superb dressing. The vegan banana cake for dessert is a great finish to your meal. Or maybe a vegan nutella pizza with berries on top? I'm craving their berry crush coffee right now, and if you're a fan of pistachio-you have to try the Pistachio Cloud. Just outstanding. 5 stars all the way around, but 4 since they're not fully vegan.

Roman’s had so many vegan options on their menu. I wish I could have given 5 stars but because it’s not fully vegan Happy Cow does not allow.

Their new drunken sandwich LOOKS AMAZING. Follow their Instagram to see what they offer. Their menu has many options and the buffalo chicken Stromboli was INCREDIBLE! They also have vegan chicken Alfredo and penne vodka ! SO GOOD AND A LOT OF offer unlike most places.

They have a new Vegan Veggie Heaven pizza. It's really unique. It has a special sauce, Zacuska, made with roasted eggplant & red peppers. It's fire! Oh, and check out their vegan chick'n cheesesteak too. 😋

Read moreYes, they have a full menu just for vegan which is nice. Salads with my experience, they were able to substitute anything that’s not vegan with a vegan option. From vegan cheese to vegan ranch.
So I went with a build my own pizza with vegan bacon, vegan pepperoni, and vegan cheese.
Also did a full salad after that. I believe it was a toss salad with vegan feta cheese substituted in.
Then last was one of their desserts but you only have one vegan option for that. A Vegan Banana Cake.
Pizza was amazing, they said they only had personal sizes for vegan pizza which was fine since I was thinking I would have to bring back slices just to eat everything. I did like it a lot.
Ya, I did salad second. Realized I do need some veggies so I went with the salad mentioned above and asked for their house made Lemon vinaigrette dressing. Wow! Never had a dressing like that but definitely good.
Last was the vegan banana cake, I’m glad I picked it. It was a nice way to end a nice vegan meal. It also looked very pretty.
Overall, I liked everything. Staff was super nice and helpful. One of them even mentioned having vegan parmesan cheese to sprinkle on the pizza which added a nice touch. Was very impressed. If you don’t want pizza, they do have other vegan options which was nice. I’ll add a picture of their full vegan side of the menu. Do recommend this place. 
Pros: Many vegan options , Not into pizza? They have other non-pizza options , Cash gives a little discount

That amazing lemon dressing is available to purchase now! 😋 It's fantastic. Their vegan menu keeps growing. The new Vegan Veggie Heaven pizza has a special zacusca sauce. It's homemade with roasted eggplant & red peppers. Fantastic & so unique!

Read moreI had a Greek chicken salad . Chicken wasn’t great but the produce was fresh.
Got a personal pie with vegan bacon and it was good. We also ordered the vegan bolognese which was good is you like sweet sauce. Great staff
Pros: Good options , Inexpensive , Service was great
Cons: Vegan Chicken was undercooked . Ask for well done

Has plenty of vegan toppings with mock meat but custom pizza can get expensive. They use violife cheese which isn’t my favourite but good enough.

We had to try to new whole page vegan menu. We got the buffalo chiken stromboli and the chiken ranch bacon pizza.
Read moreWow, they were both amazing. They even said they pre-bake the vegan crusts so that it stays crispy, with soggy bread being a common problem in vegan pizzas.
The vegan chiken was so realistic I’ve heard people don’t believe it’s vegan, but they said they had a consultant help them with the vegan menu.
Highly recommend.
