Nice restaurant and one of the very few 100% veggie in Dar Es Salaam and in Tanzania. It is in the middle of the wonderful Indian district of Dar, a safe area to walk at night (but better be careful anyway). Please send HappyCow the current tel #. Reported closed, May 2016.

Retreat Royal is closed - Edit
Retreat Royal is closed and in the same place another restaurant with the name "Chowpathy" is opened.
Pros: Place is safe, Price is moderate, Spacious
Cons: Gravy used is almost same, They use too much of garlic , Unclean dinner plates and glasses
