Stopped in Nannup on our way to Pemberton for the long weekend. Checked HappyCow for recommendations (we like to support veg-friendly places where possible) and decided to stop at Pickle & O for some takeaway coffee. Waited about 5 minutes for service while standing at the counter, received an eye-roll and attitude when we asked about soy or almond milk, then waited 15 minutes for coffee to be made (no other customers in sight, although did see a couple items go out-back), watched kitchen staff stand around and chat while there were dirty tables covered in dishes, finally got our coffees and left but ended up tipping them in the bushes because they were way too hot and tasted terrible. I've worked hospitality for over 10 years and I'm currently a barista, I'm really patient if I can see people working hard and trying their best but this was pretty ridiculous. Never again.
