To be completely honest, given the other reviews on here, we were a little disappointed by our dinner at this restaurant. We were expecting much more high end, creative food. The starter was fine, as was the pistachio linguine as a main, but the rigatoni with sausage was undercooked and lacked texture and flavour. The waiter informed us that the pasta had been cooked in line with the instructions on the packet (!), which sort of says it all. The biscoff cheesecake dessert was too sweet and also lacked texture.
Read moreOn the plus side, the service was good and the waiters friendly, and the restaurant had a good buzz. And the food was much cheaper than we expected it to be.

The paccheri alla carcerata were outstanding — beautifully presented and full of character. Pesto di Pistacchio was the best restaurant we visited in Puglia. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and a kind, attentive owner. Highly recommended, even for non-vegans!

Can't believe I found this place! - Edit
I literally stumbled across this place by accident, on a hunger fuelled mission to find something vegan for lunch...little did I realise it was an entirely vegan restaurant. We went mad and ordered 4 items off the menu! They were all out of this world! The vegan parmigiana was a crowd stopper! Incredible effort! So happy!

Fully vegan, so I didn't have to check what I had to avoid picking from the menu.. such bliss! Love the pastas, the flavours, and selection overall was great. We appreciated the restaurant, service and food... 5 stars without question.

Una perla del cuore della Puglia, una scoperta felicissima dove mangiare piatti gourmet , speciali e ricercati completamente vegani... e la cosa più strana é non vedere né legumi né insalate. Tutto superlativo, dagli antipasti al dolce. Avrei solo aggiunto un'insalata o un contorno di verdure al secondo piatto.

Read moreWe had the potato croquette with pistachio cream as a starter, two pasta dishes (one was orecchiette and the other was a crispy pasta filled with cream), parmigiana and a cheesecake with pistachio cream on top.
Everything was outstanding and full of flavor. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Trani. I didn't see an issue with the price as the location and quality of food speaks for itself.
However, if you book online you get a discount on your food.

Ottimo ristorante vegano, tutto buono, unica nota negativa sono andato con un bambino piccolo, e il cameriere a cui ho richiesto il dettaglio degli ingredienti usati e/o la richiesta eventualmente dì fare un alternativa non ha saputo darmi risposte soddisfacente, quindi da puntare bene sulla formazione dei camerieri per dare risposte dettagliate alle domande formulate riguardo i piatti proposti.

Great menu but quite expensive considering the size of the portions. It was a bit of a shock compared to other vegan restaurants in Puglia we'd visited before. We paid almost 60€ for a meal for two consisting of a starter (one potato croquette with pistachio cream - 14€) and two mains: a small portion of brocolli gnocchi (18€) and a falafel plate (12€), two small colas (4,50€ per bottle) and of course the 3€ coperto per person).
Read moreThe service was also not great, first we felt rushed to order, then they brought our food out very late because they decided to serve the couple at the table next to us who ordered after us. Then we had to ask for the bill three times until they finally let us pay and leave.

Veniamo qui ogni volta che passiamo da trani ormai da 2 anni. Il menu è sempre vario e la cosa bella è che viene frequentato sia da vegani che onnivori. da non perdere il tacos, la linguina al pesto di pistacchio, la parmigiana di melanzane e in generale tutti gli antipasti.

Abbiamo trovato questo delizioso ristorante un po’ per caso, ma è stata davvero una sorpresa ..gustosissima. Il menù è interamente vegano e consiste di ricette tipiche pugliesi e della tradizione napoletana, rivisitate in chiave vegan con l’uso di prodotti locali di altissima qualità. Consigliatissimo, dall’antipasto al dolce!
