While visiting the Hudson Valley I stopped into Get Juiced for lunch. Any of their salads can be made into sandwiches...on gluten free bread if you like...and I ordered one with a green juice. The juice was freshly made with just the right balance of fruit and veg. Since you get less filling with a sandwich the proprietor offered me a side salad with my sandwich. It was a delicious lunch in the lovely little town of Red Hook! I am thinking about going back again today before I head home!

The produce used here is organic, and they have common "green" drinks to supercharged smoothies with chia, maca, spirulina, etc. etc. The staff seems really friendly and knows all about the nutritional benefits of certain blenders/juicers and the difference between each brand of machine, so worth a stop in if you want to buy your own juicer or blender as well.

Good healthy food too like customizable salads and dairy-free soups-- not juice shop bland, if ya know what I mean.

I loved my food here and I thought it was so cool how any salad could become a wrap! I ordered the Lucky juice along with my meal, and it was also fantastic! Plus the space inside was vary modern, with nice photography, quotes, and a base color of green.

The atmosphere was lovely. I liked the vegan soup and vegan veggie burger. But when I asked the owner if the tahini dressing was vegan she was unkind and gave me an attitude. The restaurant is not vegetarian, they serve meat which, as a vegan, is unsettling. I probably won't go out of my way to go there again, it was okay.
