Vegan

Possibly not vegan??

A friend of mine told me they know someone who works there who told them the “vegan” donuts are made with egg. Unsure how to feel about that

I’ve worked at Neil’s nine years. This is absolutely, unequivocally, 100% false.

The only donut that includes eggs is the French Crueller, which is why it’s not labeled as vegan. In fact, in our 20 years of business, apart from the French Crueller, an egg hasn’t gone into a single donut EVER. They became “accidentally vegan” several years ago when we switched the type of oil used to fry them (with the exception of cake donuts). In fact, we have multiple vegans on staff that eat the donuts all the time. The entire reason we began combing through every ingredient list and recipe years ago was so they could figure out which donuts were okay to eat.

Please delete this review. It is totally inaccurate.
