So, we saw on the door the words, "Dairy Free" and the words, "Gluten Free".

Three teen age looking people greeted us. I asked, "So, which items are Dairy Free?" All three looked confused and told me that they didn't know. One person said, "Maybe nothing. I am not sure." One said, "We have a list of allergens here." They did not look at the sheet but passed it to me. I was thinking that if it says "Dairy Free" on the front door glass, people should probably know something about what is dairy free. An older guy walks out to the floor and asks if he can help. I say, "Yeah, which items are dairy free?" He says, "Everything. The whole place is vegan." Wow! Maybe the employees should have been trained to know that. HAHAHAHAA. It was their first day and the stores grand opening.

I got the Anchor Bowl and it was delish! It was way too much food for one or two people. It cost $10.50 at Surf City. They are a franchise and I spent some time talking with one of the guys, Drew, who travels the USA opening stores. I mentioned at the end of our convo that he may want to insist on better training practices for new employees.
