Vegan options every day

I went on a Wednesday hoping they had a vegan option and was surprised to find 50% or more of their options were vegan. I loaded up with a few days worth of baked goods, all delicious especially the cream filled donuts.

We were able to get 5-6 different vegan pastries and an oat milk latte here. Bougie vegan friendly hotel.

Tasty melon pan

We came here on a Monday, but there were still lots of vegan options to choose from. I tried the vegan melon pan and loved it!

Great baked goods

All vegan options are clearly marked, and there are so many of them! Everything was fresh and delicious. Get there early, they seem to run out of the popular stuff.

So good!

Came on a Sunday and was overwhelmed by the choice, everything looked amazing. My favourites were some sort of roll with tomato and olives baked in, the bagel sandwich and the pretzels. Everything we got was incredibly fresh and tasty. The place was understandably very busy.

Sunday vegan feast

On Sundays they have a huge display with a lot of mouthwatering baked goods, all of them vegan, which makes the choice really difficult! Everything they offered on the day I visited them was really appealing, and everything I could taste (see photo) was excellent.

The only downside is that they do not have a seating area, but luckily we were offered to have a seat in the dining area of the hotel.

Great selection of bakery items

Totally worth a visit even not on a Sunday. Had to really stop myself from not buying everything!
Great place for breakfast.

Good little bakery

Went on a Tuesday, and maybe 1/3 of the options were Vegan. I got the melon-pan (delicious) and chocolate donut (more spongy than fluffy).

Pros: Variety of options sweet and savory

Cons: Narrow space; no identifiable seats

Sunday is the day to go

I stayed in shinjuku and this became my go to breakfast spot. I was a little bummed that they had limited options during the week, but Sunday everything is vegan and I felt like a kid in a candy store. Everything from their savory pastries, breads, sammies, and sweet pastries were all delicious. We tried over half a dozen different items and none disappointed.

Pros: Fully vegan on sundays, Decent selection during the week, Focaccia bread

So. Many. Choices.

I was worried the vegan selection would be lackluster if I didn't go on "Sunday Vegan" but this was anything but the case. In any case, I was so impressed I had to return on a Sunday and wow, I was blown away by the quantity and quality of choices. My personal favorites were: cornetto, pain au chocolat, cinnamon pretzel, and finally what I think was a sweet potato danish.

Awesome!

We went there on friday at noon and had a chocolate bagel, a mini baguette with vegan butter and marmelade, melopan, a donut and a matcha muffin. There were also hearty treats and other sweets.

Best bakery in Tokyo

We booked our first trip to Japan and stayed at the Knot, not realising how lucky we were to be by such a unique and delicious bakery. We’re currently on our second trip to Japan and the first thing we did was go straight to the bakery for breakfast, even though we’re not staying at the hotel this time. There are plenty of options, everything is made well and with such care. There’s a real appreciation for baking as a craft and it shows. We’ve tried other bakeries in Japan and they’ve been good, but not as good as this! It worth the walk!

Pros: High quality bakery, Good Variety, Everything is delicious!

Cons: Not central Shinjuku

Excellent bakery clearly labelled vegan options

This hotel bakery was such a great find. They do Vegan Sundays. The selection was amazing; fresh donuts, pastries, breads, everything I tried was delicious.

On regular days if you get there early enough, there’s usually a good vegan variety. I got a tomato and avocado bagel made to order to takeaway for lunch. All items can be taken away.

You can tell they put a lot of care into what they make. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Selection, Fresh, Takeaway

Cons: Busy, Sells out fast

Many options even on a non-Sunday

Stopped in on a weekday around 11am - I was worried there would be limited options that late in the morning but there were plenty of baked goods, both vegan and non-vegan.

I tried the maple banana walnut scone, the rustic Iwanori, and the vegan melon bread. The texture and flavor of each was excellent! My favorite was the Iwanori but I'd happily get any of these again. And looking forward to coming back to try other items, especially on a Sunday.

They also had a veggie sandwich option in the sandwich case. The service was very friendly and all baked goods are self-service and clearly marked "Sunday Vegan" so you can choose for yourself.

Pros: Variety of options, Delicious

Amazing

Sundays are all about vegan goodness! 🥐 The vegan croissant was absolutely amazing, and the bagels? Unbeatable. Their bread is simply the best.

Great!

Hiked over here on a rainy, jet-lagged Sunday morning and were greeted by such kind, friendly people who speak English. The selection was incredible. Had the matcha muffin, which was neither too sweet nor too matcha-y. Took a bunch of stuff to go to keep for later in the week. Highly recommend.

Great selection of baked goods

I arrived on a ”non-vegan” day (i.e., not a Sunday), but still found a wide variety of baked goods and some sandwiches as well.

My vegetable sandwich was visually appealing and fresh, but it had a sauce that wasn’t to my taste. In addition, I also had a cream-filled eclair (delicious) and a blueberry muffin (a tad dry, but still nice) and a cranberry bun (crispy and sweet).

Will return on a Sunday to check out the fully vegan spread!

Very reasonable prices!

Really nice!

Stayed at The Knot Shinjuku for my Tokyo trip, which is the hotel that this bakery is in the lobby of. Super convenient to buy breakfast every morning! There’s always plently of vegan options and sunday is entirely vegan. Pictures are a mixture of me and my partners food, who is vegetarian.

Pros: close to hotel, always vegan options, really tasty

Cons: almost zero protein so not a full meal, very busy at times and lack of seating

Yummy baked vegan goodies

So many options! My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach and I loaded up on too much but everything looked so amazing. The stand outs were the cherry tart & melon pan. The place is in the lobby of a hotel so it was BUSY! I also specifically went on a Sunday which is when everything is 100% vegan 💚

Pros: Huge range of vegan options, Lovely staff

Cons: Can get busy
