Don't bother with the all you can eat

We went here one time and LOVED the pizza, and the deserts were rad too. Server said to come back for "all you can eat" on Tuesday nights. Made it sound SO good - I mean, she REALLY sold it. So, we rode our bikes down one Tuesday evening. We were super excited for the chance to try all their pizzas and desert pizza. Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed. The pizzas were few and far between, and when they came, they were not topped anywhere near as generously as when ordered from the menu. You have no control over the type - just whatever comes out. Servers walk around with pizzas on plates and serve you one TINY sliver of pizza per round. I can understand sharing and moderation - but please don't call this "all you can eat"! On this particular night, there seemed to be friends of the owner/ employees sat outside where we were, but nearer the door. What this meant for us: servers stepped down the stairs from restaurant, and either served their friends, or each person at a table of 5 sat just beside them, and then low and behold - we missed out. Every. Single. Time. The only times we got pizza was for 1 round before those 2 tables arrived, and then if any of those guests declined a slice the servers MAY come to us (but mostly to the other tables). We missed 6 entire rounds IN A ROW without getting one slice! The salad was scant: just a stack of leaves, some dressing - and if we were lucky when the server grabbed a tong-full (is that even a word?!) we might have got half a cherry tomato. And the fries - well, as one reviewer said, they're wedges, and modest ones at that. We got served about 5-6 single skinny little "fries" each. No more! We waited and waited for more pizza to fill us (it's $25 a head) and when we were nearing 2 hours and had endured several embarrassing encounters having to ask the servers for more, we decided to give up and just try the desert pizza. One slice. Nothing to write home about. Thanks - we paid the bill and we'll never be back. Shame, cos we desperately wanted to support this local vegan establishment. If you have to go, just order off the menu; if you brave "all you can eat", don't go hungry!

Pros: Casual

Cons: Misappropriation of the term ALL YOU CAN EAT, Inconsistent quality and service
