The vegan chicken steak I ordered was definitely not “vegan” chicken.

The vegan chicken steak sandwich that I ordered, definitely had real, not vegan chicken, tho I was assured that it was. This created an embarrassing situation for our hosts as well as distress both emotionally and physically for me. My host even called to confirm that the “chicken” was in fact vegan. I have pictures of the meat. They also put dairy based ricotta cheese on a vegan Cheese pizza. This is not acceptable. #Veganuary

Cons: They clearly do not understand what is vegan.

Hi Barbara, I want make sure you have the correct location. We're located at 109 Greenwood Ave. Wyncote, Pa 19095. First off the fresh grilled chicken we use in our restaurant is chopped in cubes and the other chicken we use is breaded. We offer no real chicken that looks like your picture. Our vegan chicken looks extreme real. Also, we only use vegan cheese on a vegan pizza. We don't even offer vegan ricotta. To be clear our restaurant is not just a vegan restaurant. We offer vegan options. Our menu is for everyone.
