Fine Fine Fine Cuisine 😼 - Edit
Been hearing of this place for what feels like ages. Called several times during the past couple of years to see if they had indoor dining after since opening from the pandemic, every time was a hard NO, and sometimes it even seemed the voice on the phone was mad/upset at me for even asking, oh well? 😹
Read moreFinally did try it however! The takeout experience is order online, show up and the bag is on the front counter with your name on it. Probably just short staffed so I didn’t see or speak with anyone.
Got the Chimichanga with No Pollo (Chicken) & Chips. It was pretty great, nothing extraordinary but im just maybe a little TOO used to Chipotle 🤷🏻♂️
Would order again if in the area and in the mood for Mex! 🔥

Best delivery vegan in the area!!? - Edit
Every single dish is a hit! Been ordering for a second year. They are very generous with the dishes and often include “extra gifts” I wish it was available for sit down

Sooooo Good! - Edit
Luna Verde have definitely upped their game recently. Their new brunch menu is amazing, especially the no huevos rancheros and empanadas. I love to eat on their outdoor patio in the summer.

Expensive and Long Wait. - Edit
Came here when I was hungry and was thrown by the long wait times, but the food was worth the wait. Got a salad, chips and salsa, and 2 Coca Colas for $50 though, which personally I do not consider worth it for one entree and a side, though the salad was large enough to possibly be the next day's lunch if you're not too hungry when you order it.
Read moreGreat option if you have the time and money to get it, but unfortunately that is not me. The Mexican Coca Cola is worth stopping for though, they are much better than regular coke.
Pros: Good Coke
Cons: Expensive, Long wait

Delicious - Edit
Aside from a delivery time kerfuffle, I have nothing but praise for Luna Verde. I had the special elote, the no pollo tacos dorados, the horchata, and both the classic tres leches cake and the mocha version. I’m going to dream about that elote and tres leches cake, they were so good!

A Delicious Gem! - Edit
I was taking a scenic route on a road trip between the Northeast and DC, and I decided to stop in Bradley Beach at random. I've never spent any time in coastal NJ, so I really wasn't sure what to expect for the area. I pulled out Happy Cow when I arrived in town, and was excited that this place was just a couple of minutes' drive away.
Read moreSitting in the parking lot, I tried to call to place an order first, but didn't get an answer. The open sign was clearly lit up, so I begrudgingly placed an order on Grubhub from the parking lot. I would've preferred to give my business directly to the restaurant, but it didn't seem that I had a choice. I will also add that with the number of options available for each dish, the menu was actually easier to parse through on Grubhub rather than the restaurant's website.
After placing my order, I went down to the beach for a quick walk. About an hour later, I came back to some fresh, hot food waiting for me. Their contactless delivery setup was very contactless! The food was waiting in a bag on the counter. No human interaction necessary.
I got the tradicionales tacos with the seitan al pastor, which were absolutely delicious. They were so flavorful, the side of rioja salsa wasn't needed. The grilled spring onion really kicked them up a notch as well. In comparison, the side of rice and beans wasn't as flavorful, but I was so full after the tacos, that I didn't mind.
I had also ordered the queso fundido with asada seitan, which I'm hoping survived the rest of the drive home.
If I ever happen to be in the area again, I'd definitely make a point to stop here!
Pros: Delicious and filling tacos, Great contactless delivery procedure, Inventive Mexican dishes
Cons: Food took a bit of time to prepare, Pricey, Didn't answer the phone

Fresh and Delicious - Edit
We love Luna Verde and can't help but visit every time we're in the area. The food is always fresh and always tasty. We've brought a ton of family members here and everyone always enjoys themselves. There are options for everyone, vegan or not! Even little ones don't mind eating here. Atmosphere is quiet, clean and welcoming. Owners are the best. Make sure to visit here next time you're looking for a good meal after a long beach day. You won't be sorry!

Favorite Mexican Place in NJ - Edit
We came here 2 times and both times we had the same awesome experience. The food is so authentic and delicious. We love the sauces and the different flavors in each dish. Yes it can be pricey but so worth it. The food is made by order so of course there is a wait. Don't leave the shore without trying this place !

Amazing Vegan Mexican Cuisine - Edit
Everything I had at Luna Verde was delicious. My husband and I ordered the guacamole, tamales, the (muy muy grande) chimichanga, and churros for dessert. Everything was very authentic, fresh, and excellent quality. I really appreciate that they give you complementary chips and salsa to start, too! Might be my new favorite restaurant. I’ll definitely be going back soon!

Food is okay - Edit
I’ve been here a few times. The service is always very slow which is fine because they’re cooking fresh but water refills are hard to come by. The food is just okay. It’s often very bland. I think the cheese they use is overpowering. The churro dessert I got was rock hard. Others ive spoken to love it here but maybe I keep ordering the wrong things? If you’re craving vegan Mexican I’d try it but ultimately I’d prefer to make it at home.

Very delicious food, lots of options. Best most authentic Mexican I’ve had even before turning plant based. Very expensive though! Tiny piece of tres leches cake is $9! Very tiny piece of cake, but is in fact heavenly :). They have many meat alternative for each dish. They do use lots of soy, but you can can lots of other options

Fresh Mexican Food at the Shore - Edit
I recommend Luna Verde. The food is fresh and made to order, this may be why some complain abt longer than expected wait times. I have been here several times and have not experienced such issues. I find the portions larger than expected and moderaterly priced. The staff is friendly and attentive. I usually combine dinner here with a day at the shore or an evening at Showroom Cinema.

Went on a weeknight. Dinner for two. Several tables were open. Hostess informed us we could not be seated because "the kitchen is full." She offered to take our number and call us when they could serve us. We asked how long, and she was unable to even give an estimate. Don't know why I would go back.

Overpriced Average food, long wait. - Edit
I wouldn't recommend going here. The wait is typically 45 min and I was kept waiting about 1.5 hour. No update on when our food will arrive. We ordered the queso and ran out of chips to finish the dip and asked for another handful, unfortunately they asked us to pay. As a customer, if I am paying this much for a good meal, and am kept waiting 1.5 hour. Please give me another handful of chips to finish my appetizer while I'm waiting for my meal. The manager was not apologetic on either front when I was providing some feedback. He was defensive and absolutely rude. He said I had a bad attitude. After bringing a group of friends in for a nice meal and spending over 123 dollars, it felt terrible to be told I had a bad attitude. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Not worth the wait - Edit
Waited an hour+ for food that was absolutely dripping with grease and really very average (except for the guacamole, that was pretty good). It gave large portions, but the prices went along with that. They say there is no surcharge on debit cards and atm cards, but we received one anyway and when we asked about it they told us that debit cards did get a charge. We overheard an argument between a staff member and another customer when the customer (rather politely, I may add) asked why they were waiting an hour and a half for their food and she was yelled at. Perhaps worst of all, my boyfriend was sick all night and I was sick that night and all the next day. We ordered completely different things so the fact that multiple items on the menu cause food poisoning is pretty bad.
