Vegetarian restaurant and tea room with vegan options. Everything is made in-house with local and mostly organic products. Serves typical Caucasian and Armenian items such as tolmas, pirochkis and also cakes such as medoviks, bakhlavas, gatas and other candied fruits. Also has Armenian bread and offers wine and beers from Armenia and Georgia. Open Tue-Sat 10:00-13:30. Open 7-9pm in the evenings by reservation only. Open Sun & Mon by reservation only, with a minimum of six people.

Read moreTo be honest I can't remember what time it was, we had just arrived at Cahors after a long train journey from Paris, but it was after the 18:00 closing time currently shown, so I would recommend checking if you are need of a delicious meal.

THE best dining option for vegans in Cahors - Edit
I tried, unsuccessfully, to determine if this menu is vegetarian or fully vegan. The website states it as vegan; however, on questioning the staff and Suzan herself (I do not speak French, so language barrier may be the reason) I still wasn’t sure. That said: it is certainly vegetarian with most items being vegan.
Read moreIt is a casual restaurant with many outdoor tables. I had the “burrito” which was made with a lovely, thin, flatbread (Armenian?) and baked with beans and vegetables inside. On the side were a few, gorgeous, and tasty vegetable salads. Mmm…
They also have several deserts (not all of which are vegan, so be sure to ask). I had the carrot cake which was HUGH and just sweet enough to satisfy (got to love the French). Very, very good lunch.
This spot is a MUST for vegetarians, vegans and anyone interested in good quality healthy food.

Suzan a très gentiment accepté de nous servir 1h avant l'ouverture habituelle de son restaurant. Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis. Les plats proposés sont délicieux et copieux 😍

Nous avons pris en plat un curry de lentilles corail et un pain au rumex, accompagnés de plusieurs portions de légumes merveilleusement préparés ❤️ Un régal pour les yeux et les papilles !
Il ne restait que deux desserts vegan et j'ai choisi le gâteau vanille fraise succulent et magnifiquement décoré.
Suzan est une personne formidable, généreuse et gentille. On voit qu'elle aime ce qu'elle fait et elle le fait si bien.

No dudaron en abrir la cocina para nosotros aunque faltaban 2 horas para abrir. Nos prepararón un petit dejuner expectacular. Tambien cuidaron muy bien a nuestra perra. Le pusieron agua y comida.

Stumbled across this delightful place by accident when they were closing but the lovely owner, Suzan offered to make us a quick vegan unch, including her home made cashew nut based “foie gras”.

She and the other owner (her husband?) we’re genuinely interested in knowing what we thought and our travels. Truly welcoming and kind people. But the food was superb too. And we didn’t even get to sample the cakes! Worth a visit to Cahors alone.

Delicious Armenian food and wine - Edit
The menu was all in French and the owners only spoke French so we struggled a bit (our fault for being poor at languages!) but they were very up on vegan and reassuring. The menu was only small but half of it was vegan and they had vegan cake as well. First time trying Armenian food and it was delicious - all really tasty and a bit different. We had their white Armenian wine too, and that was fantastic - really good quality wine. The fig cake I had was sublime also. Highly recommend for dinner (or lunch I imagine) but worth booking a table as it got busy even on a Monday in September.

Bien que le restaurant soit végétarien la plupart du menu y est vegan. D’ailleurs si j’ai un conseil pour les futurs clients, ce serait d’appeler en avance pour commander un menu cru vegan 😉(la cheffe nous a confié que c’était ce qu’elle préférait cuisiner).
Un grand merci à la cheffe pour cette belle découverte.

The food at this little restaurant is so good! I feel healthy just thinking about the meal I had! All of the ingredients are organic and the dishes are prepared with love by the vegan chef/owner. She told me that she works 18 hours a day just to prepare and serve everything to perfection and you can tell that she puts her heart and soul into what she is doing! I had a lovely vegan appetizer, red bean balls with pomegranite seeds then a vegan kebab for the main dish and chia and red fruit pudding for desert. I am so glad that I found this restuarant, the staff is super friendly and careful to serve you only vegan items. I will be going back here again and highly recommend it!!!!

Une semaine après son ouverture, mon compagnon et moi avons testé ce restaurant.
Read moreLe personnel y est très sympathique, la nourriture vegane est bio et les produits sont frais.
La cheffe (vegane) manie très bien les saveurs et les textures.
Nous avons mangé un feuilleté d'aubergines à tomber (l'ensemble végétal était fondant, consistant, crémeux, tout à la fois !), le fromage végétal est aussi fait maison et le dessert était très surprenant (prunes qui se sont dorées la pilule et crème dessert avec un composant secret).
Seul bémol, nous n'avons pas pu tester les milkshakes et smoothies (et tous les autres plats ^^) !
C'est délicieux et nous recommandons chaudement ce restaurant !
