Check your bill carefully! - Edit
This restaurant is basically a scam. Avoid at all cost if you want to keep your money.
Read moreI went there with my wife last week and they included a service fee, on which they wanted to pay additional tip. They also charged me for a meal I did not order.
If you must go eat at Lay Low Cafe, make sure to carefully review the bill before paying. Also, ask for the receipt, which they won't give you by default to mask their scams.
Cons: They charge you for items you did not order, They include a 18% service fee & ask for more tips

Lots of creative vegan options - Edit
I had the tofu bahn mi (highly recommend) and an iced tiramisu latte (sub almond milk, no whipped cream). So good and lots of options!

Good Brunch Spot - Edit
Loved the vibes of Lay Low! They have a couple of clearly marked vegan items on the menu and some items can be modified vegan. I tried the brekkie board modified to be vegan and an oat maple cinnamon latte. I thought the selection of vegan items was okay (could be better) and it's a little pricey for what you get. Overall it's worth a try, and I definitely think I'll be back.

Hip brunch spot - Edit
Of all of Kingston’s hip brunch spots, this might be my favourite because of its contemporary decor. It has chill vibes and low noise, making it easy to carry on conversations. The vegan options are clearly labeled and I loved the “vegan stack” that I ordered. It’s a much more creative dish than you’ll find at many other brunch spots.

Decent vegan selection! - Edit
Small cafe that offers some vegan options on their menu, which is clearly labelled. Recently went for breakfast and they had a couple options to choose from on their all day breakfast menu and their lunch menu. They also offer coffee, which was delicious and some pastries, which unfortunately none were vegan. Cafe was very busy and seating was limited, staff was very friendly.

Vegan Vibes - Edit
There are many nice vegan options for breakfast/brunch here. We enjoyed the vegan stack and the tofu banh mi. It's beautifully decorated inside with outdoor seating. The servers were super friendly too!

A beautiful brunch spot! - Edit
Open and airy atmosphere, and a chill vibe with a patio and some vegan and gluten free smoothies, fresh juices and food. The Breaky Board and Vegan Stack are delish.
