veggie cafe/resto - Edit
Read moreIt's a small colourful cafe with few tables.
The dishes were not marked as vegan, but the waiter helped us making our choices.
One of us chose the menu of the day which was a soup and then fried veggies with soy chorizo. I decided for hummus as starter and a vegan baguette. The baguette came as two rolls, but that was totally fine with me.
The food was good, not super spectacular, but made of fresh ingredients and tasty. Considering that there are not many all vegan or vegetarian places in oaxaca, I definitely recommend coming here and supporting them :)
Also, try the mocca oaxaca, it's coffee with spicy chocolate.. we had it with almond milk nomnomnom!
Price was about 280 pesos for the menu, hummus, baguette, two coffees, two water of the day and one bottled water.... can not complain about that at all!
Pros: veggie place with vegan options, freshly made food, nice staff

Cute Cafe with Tasty Smoothies and Vegan Food - Edit
This adorable, friendly and welcoming cafe was situated in a quiet neighbourhood inside a colourful building, a short walk from the Parque El Llano. The small open-air colonial building had seating both inside and outside, underneath large shade trees looking out to the street.
Read moreTheir menu had a great selection of vegetarian and vegan-friendly meals and I ordered a fruit smoothie (with coconut milk – this option was hard to find in Mexico) and a large salad with soy meat, tomatoes, lettuce, beets and a honey dressing. It was delicious, was made from fresh ingredients and was one of the best salads I ate in Mexico.
The staff were friendly and I was the only guest at the time, so it was super peaceful and lovely.

Great vegan food! - Edit
Don't miss this beautiful little cafe! We ordered the "Plato del dia" (plate of the day) and it was three courses for a very reasonable price. Everything we ate was delicious and totally vegan. The owner speaks perfect English and everyone who works there knows what vegan means (which is hard to find Mexico). We came back a second day and had the Plato del dia again! Also the coffee is amazing.
