Some baked goods are vegan, and the staff knows about the ingredients used. Makes vegan kringle & vegan donuts - call ahead to check stock. Relocated from Racine. Merged with Lehman's Bakery. Reported closed December 2024.
Great vegan donuts, they taste just like the non vegan ones and had me fooled. Would give it a 5/5 if possible.. Great choices especially in such a small town!
For anyone new to the Midwest life... I recommend Larsen's for Kringle. They have several vegan choices -- all are vegan with the exception of the "cheese" Kringles!
this place is amazing. so affordable and actually the best donuts i’ve ever had in my life, vegan or not vegan. the woman who usually works at the counter is so sweet and very knowledgeable about what is in everything and can answer your questions. i literally go here once a week because its so good and its local!
When I see vegan donuts, I try them. I've been to several fancy and some all vegan bakeries showcasing Pinterest worthy donuts with creative flavor combinations. These are traditional donuts. These are nostalgia donuts. No candied pecan or maple bacon donuts. These are custard and jam-filled long johns with chocolate or white frosting, with or without sprinkles (yes, all vegan). And they are the best GD traditional donuts ever. And apple fritters. Per the very knowledgeable staff, avoid any donuts or kringles with buttercream or caramel. They'll fill you in on any other exceptions.
Tip: this is a bakery, not cafe, but Wilson Coffee House across the street let us eat the donuts in their cafe while drinking their housemade chai tea (soy) latte (vegan).

amazing vegan donuts - Edit
This place has a huge selection of vegan donuts, danishes and kringles. They are also incredibly inexpensive. I paid about $7 for a mixed dozen.

Vegan Donuts! - Edit
I am so glad I do not live that close to this bakery. They have donuts and kringle that are delicious and purportedly vegan by the staff.

Cons: Not all products are vegan, should ask.
