Trzy razy TAK! - Edit
Bardzo dobre jedzenie, jak na duże porcje i centrum miasta przystępne ceny, miła obsługa. Menu o szerokim i różnorodnym zakresie. Póki co najlepsza wege knajpa w jakiej byłam. Na pewno jeszcze wrócę!

Tasty central option - Edit
Kwadrat is perfectly located if you're exploring the main square. It's a small, brightly coloured place. There's no English menu, but the staff explain everything well. There were three daily specials on the board. I had a pasta dish with tempeh, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes and broccoli - it was really tasty and satisfying. My boyfriend had a sweet potato and carrot curry which was pleasantly sweet and creamy and really well-spiced, and came with some kofta as well. We couldn't fit in any cake, but it looked delicious!

Great cakes, average dishes - Edit
Kwadrat is closely situated to the old market. The bistro itself is small with a green interior. The best part is the cozy terrace in the back.
Read moreThe main dish is served in a glass tray. I found that this choice lacks some inspiration. The dish was also smaller than expected. The lasagna I choose had much more oil than I'm used to, and was not that special.
They do not have an English menu yet, but said it will be soon available as well. Staff speaks English and is very kind.
The cakes in the vitrine look very good.
Pros: Located near the old market, Terrace in the garden, English-speaking staff
Cons: Small dishes, Dishes are not special, No English menu

Great food, perfect location, helpful staff - Edit
Good quality, tasty and interesting food. We all had different dishes and they were all great. The teas and the beers were also very good and the kids enjoyed the desserts very much. The staff was helpful and kind. They answered all the doubts of the kids and were plurilingual. They were fixing the terrace and we ate indoors. The place is next to Rynek, so the location can't be better. Love this place.

I've tried main dishes, some toast and the cake. The main dish was ok, but it didn't delight me. I think for this price it should be better tasting. But I've tried their cake spekulant and it was really delithious. I think tha cakes are the best what U can it in kwadrat

Best vegan place in Poznan! - Edit
This is my favourite restaurant in Poznan. I've have eaten here several times. I love their cakes, gnocchi, panini, toast, ice-cream, coffee. The staff is very polite and helpful. The location is great, right in the city centre. The interior is very cosy, great for a romantic date :)
Read moreThe only disadvantage is that the only thing available for take-out is cake, but I guess that's a part of their philosophy.
Pros: Prices accurate to quality , Very tasty food, Great location
Cons: Take-out only includes cake

perfect place - Edit
Nice place just off the main square, and the only all vegan option in the city! Loved the atmosphere, very cozy although maybe even a bit too small. We had to wait a little bit for a seat.
Read moreThe menu is simply amazing, I had a very hard time choosing because I really wanted to try it all. In the end we had the starter plates (oriental & mediterranean), a panini and a savoury pancakes. The plates were delicious, but I especially loved my savoury pancake. For this alone it's already worth going.
Prices are ok, not cheap but worth it. We paid around 90zl (22 euro) for two drinks, two starters and two main dishes. We barely were able to finish our portions because they were really big.
To conclude, Kwadrat really managed to combine healthy & delicious in their dishes. Shouldn't miss it when you're in town.

First vegan place in Poznan - worth a visit! - Edit
Kwadrat is a wonderful cosy place 2 minutes from the Old Square. Delicious vegan dishes and a very friendly owner. Probably the only place in Poznan (if not in Poland) where you can buy Club Mate and Wostok lemonade. =) Definitely worth a visit! We'll be back!

You have to visit this place - Edit
It's the best vegan place in Poznań. Actually it's the only one but still amazing. Perfect for you when you're missing some sweet cakes. You can also take here your non-veg friends because Kwadrat has really wide offer which contains cakes, coffees, ice-creams, chocolates - all 100% vegan. They have also daily menu, perfect when you're hungry and you want to eat some vegan dinner. They have great profile on facebook where they're putting photos of their dishes and cakes, so you can check what they're serving each day. Prices are nice - around 3€ for a piece of cake. I don't like only one thing - it's so small and quiet, that everyone can hear when you're talking with a friend. But still, if you will be in Poznań, you have to visit Kwadrat!

An absolute gem! - Edit
It tends to be hard to find a 100% vegan restaurant when you're visiting a new city, but to know that Poznan had one made me very excited about my trip.
Read moreUpon arrival we were greeted by a genuinely friendly waitress who quickly sussed we weren't Polish speakers and offered us a nicely presented English menu which was a lovely touch. The range of food and drinks on offer was fantastic and we all decided on a smoked tofu with olive tapenade platter which arrived with a gorgeous roll of brown bread which offered a delicious combination of flavours, just what you want after a long journey.
For the main course some of us had spinach spaghetti, which was full of flavour and such a lovely change from the usual tomato based pastas too often provided as Vegan options. The rest of us had savoury pancakes which came with a fantastic mushroom sauce.
The restaurant offers a great selection of desserts, so pleasing to the eye we bought one of each and shared them. The highlight of the menu is the ice cream selection which I beleive is called "Guiseppe's" and to date is the most delivious ice cream I've encountered.
After the meal the chef came out to thank us for coming, and give us a warm send off.
All in all we were so happy with the entire experience we couldn't help but tip generously and even then we still felt like sending a thank you card.
Can't recommend enough!
Pros: Excellent Food, Friendly Staff, Healthy Cuisine
Cons: None. Seriously, None!
