We split the big vegan margarita pizza, and it was really nice. They switched the cheese to tofu, and when you sprinkle some salt on top, it's perfect. And I think it's the only place to find vegan food in Kuranda.
A small (11 inch) vegetarian pizza is $14 and very filling (too much for one person!). They do have 'vegan cheese' but it is just grated tofu and doesn't really add anything to the pizza. There is also a $10 roast veggie wrap and soft drink deal. Overall, the food wasn't exactly mindblowing but it was cheap and the staff understand what vegan means! Round the corner at the market is Frog's restaurant and there were two apparently vegan curries on offer (a pumpkin one and a chickpea and quinoa one). If we went back to Kuranda we would probably give Frog's a go rather than go back to Kuranda Cyber Cafe.
