from burgers to bowls and burritos - but notably also veganised Portuguese dishes - this place offers something for every vegan. i can recommend the francesinha if you want to try something typically from porto and are craving carbs and want a full belly😄

Very pleasant restaurant, with a wide choice of food. I highly recommend the francesinha, which is their best seller. The shrimp tacos are also delicious. I recommend this place for casual dining. But don't expect a typical Portuguese menu.

A Kind Kitchen é um dos restaurantes vegetarianos de referência no Porto. Começou por ocupar um pequeno espaço na Rua do Bonjardim. Já mais recentemente mudou-se para um amplo espaço na Praça de Ceuta onde, curiosamente, já existiu há vários anos um outro restaurante vegetariano designado Cultura dos Sabores.
O Kind Kitchen oferece um cardápio constituído por pratos relativamente “leves” e bastante saborosos.
Quando lá fui tive a oportunidade de pedir uma “Thai Bowl”, constituida por Arroz Basmati, tofu marinado, bróculos bébes, tomates cereja, “rematados” com um delicioso molho oriental de Amendoím e Sementes (de sésamo creio).
Sem dúvida recomenda-se!

The atmosphere is quiet and very cozy. The service is nice and kind. We loved the possibility to try a traditional plate as the francesinha in its vegan version. The other plates were original (as the shrimps tacos). Great desserts

Read moreThe children had beyond burgers with chips, as did grandma who couldn't believe it "wasn't meat". I loved the homemade nuggets with bbq dips, the "French fries" were really potato wedges (a plus in my opinion). The hummus plate was also tasty
Nice alcohol. The only downside for us was that the kids didn't like the craft soda "coke", but this isn't really a bad thing, just don't order it for kids who want actual coke
Pros: Fully vegan, Kid friendly options , Decent portion sizes

Very popular cafe with great menu - Edit
This place was so busy, and has a great menu. I ended up having the chickpea curry and my friend the falafel wrap and we shared a jug of sangria. Large portions, very tasty. Highly recommend. Sorry didn’t get pics, talking too much.

Read moreAs main we had the Franchesina & the hummus wrap. Both have been super super good & also my non-vegan partner was very impressed. Also portion size was quite big. 🙈
All in all - a must visit in Porto! (Be aware that they do not take reservations, if possible try to come a bit earlier in the evening)

What a revelation - Francesinha is a very typical Porto dish - and these folks do a vegan version and it’s incredible. The sauce alone is with the trip. Just go and get it. Wifey had the burger and that was great too, as was the coffee and the brownie. And not terribly expensive altogether.

All our dishes were absolutely tasty and fresh. We loved every single peace. We had Chilli con “Carne”, French fries with an awesome kind of sour cream dip, green salad with kind of cashew burrata and Bruschetta. For dessert we had the passion fruit cheesecake. A dream! All food they serve is vegan. Staff very friendly and helpful advisors!
