Mind blowing burgers - Edit
An example of why no one needs to eat meat. We had the standard burger and the chkn one and both were great. Good portions, fresh and assumingly home made. Chips were also very good and reminded me of what I remember McDonald’s chips to be like!? Would defo come again

Wow, the tropical burger tasted amazing, such good flavours!🔥🍔 The non-alcohol Moscow Mule Was yummy, but very overprized for a cocktail.🙃 For dessert I had the donut with Arequipe, which I loved.😋 It is expensive but definitely worth it as it's all vegan and extremely delicious! Also the decor is really beautiful and the staff very attentive.

Great vegan pastries and desserts! I had the risotto to start and then a cheesecake for dessert. I also took a donut and cinnamon roll home too for later. Everything was amazing.
Read moreThe place does seem to cater more to sharing plates so if you’re on your own there’s not really one complete dish you can have on its own. So it could get expensive if ordering multiple dishes.
Still everything i had was delicious!

It was our first restaurant experience in Colombia and I think we got off to a very good start with dinner. We really enjoyed the place. The attendant was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The dishes were really tasty and the drinks were sensational. Many vegan options. We were very satisfied with the experience.

A novel twist on vegan food - Edit
The service here is great and the food is relatively novel, yet wholesome! Coming from the states, it was nice to see how this restaurant did vegan substitutes of caprese and tortellinis, for example. Didn’t get to try their meat substitutes but they had some interesting options (ie, chickpea sausage).

We went there for dinner on a weeknight at 7pm and were easily able to get seated. Service was fast and courteous. We tried the special of the day -vegan shawarma - and found it flavorful but a little soggy. The accompanying vegan yogurt cream was more impressive. The plantain burger was ok- a standard soy patty but the best dish by far was the hotdog. I also recommend the fries with the cilantro mayo. The desserts are creative and tasty. We enjoyed the pistachio donut and cheesecake. The food is a bit pricey but the experience was good.

Read moreI had the cauliflower wings- really good and the tofu hummus- I dis not love it but it was nice. I would order a different one because I think they will be tastier.
For dessert I had the lemon pie which was really good, not the best I have had.
All in all this is definitely worth a visit, make sure to order the recommended dishes !

Came for dinner with 2 non vegans and everyone thought it was some of the best food we'd had in Medellin. Chickpea hummus dish was ridiculous, everyone's favorite dish split of many there. Also went back for breakfast and thought every dish then was amazing too.

Edit: We returned for a second visit. This time, the server tried to upsell us on alcohol. Tacky, and annoying.

It all left a bad taste, and we would not return, even for the great burgers.
Original: We were seated immediately when we arrived around 7:30 on a Tuesday. The menu is long and concludes with a photo of the owner in swim gear, a little unusual but okay.
My family ordered a number of different items: burger, bowl, dishes to share. Good flavors -- a little different from the other veg places we have visited, with attention given to aesthetics and presentation as well as food.
I particularly liked the shot of lemon juice, probably the most affordable item on the menu.
We shared lemon and blueberry cake for dessert, and that was excellent too.
The decor is soothing, and although it has something of an upscale vibe, we were not underdressed in our casual California tourist clothes.

I searched for vegan restaurants in Rappi and Kaime was the only one that popped out in Medellin. However, in the Rappi app it was not stated that it's 100% vegan restaurant so I was little confused. That time I still didn't know about HappyCow app. We ordered quinoa bowl with fries and the chocolate ice cream and it was soooooo delicious 😋 now that I know everything is vegan I would order much more 😍

Expensive and needs service improvement - Edit
I was looking forward to trying Kaime, but unfortunately had a bad experience. First, the menu (and the waiter) says that the dishes are to share, but they are actually quite small. And very expensive. But so far I was open to pay a little more to try something new. What really ruined my experience though was the service. Once we realised that 2 dishes to share by 2 wouldn’t be enough, we’ve ordered another one, and after 30min waiting, we asked the waiter to check if the preparation was in progress. Another 10min passed and the waiter didn’t come back to give us any updates. So we called them again and then they told us that the dish wasn’t ordered. We asked for the bill then, and they charged service without asking, even though it was a poor service. We left hungry, and went to another restaurant to complement our meal.
