NO MORE VEGAN DISHES

UPDATE:
After the menu was changed, no more vegan dishes available. Staff was not even willing to ask if serving the vegan curry was possible. Unfortunately, this place is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians anymore.

Vegan dishes are declared as such, BUT the "Vegan Burger" as written in the current menu comes with mayonnaise, so order explicitly without mayonnaise in this case.
Next to the declared veg dishes you can ask for a combination of the available side dishes or even the super delicious curry which was taken off the menu recently.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good first meal

I went here tonight with my dad after having just landed. Its walking distance from our hotel, which is fantastic.

Id written down in French how to say vegetarian, no honey, no eggs, no milk, so I showed it to the waitress when we arrived and she recommended a salad. I went with it even though I had no idea what was in it -- it was rice noodles, lettuce, avocado, string beans, corn, beets, tomatoes, in a balsamic vinagrette, and it came with some bread and it was perfect after having been traveling for about 24 hours.

Might have been disappointing under other circumstances. There might also be other options, but being we literally arrived about 3 hours ago, we havent quite figured out this communication thing yet.

Nice staff, little vegan food

I came for dinner and was thoroughly disappointed - the vegetable burger is not vegan (or possibly even vegetarian as the waiter said it had bacon in but we were battling a little with translations). There was no curry or items marked vegan or vegetarian but the waiter went and asked the kitchen what the options were.

I ended up with one of the starters, a bulgar wheat salad with sun-dried tomatoes, carrots, dates and peas in a vinaigrette. It was very tasty but not very substantial.

For dessert there was a choice between fruit salad and sorbet, which I was told did not contain eggs.

Note that the link from Happy Cow puts you about 250m from the Institute - rather use google maps directly.

Pros: Friendly staff who are keen to assist

Cons: No vegan or vegetarian options marked on menu
