Rude and clueless to allergy and vegan issues - Edit
My wife and I went in here because we wanted to buy some vegan nan bread. The workers had no idea what vegan meant, what was dairy free due to my allergy, nor did they want help. They were very rude and have no idea what they are doing. Most likely if they say vegetarian or vegan they are making it up to please the customer.

I've been going here for 8 years and have never once encountered a rude employee, but if I were looking for vegan food at a traditional ethnic restaurant, I would probably list the foods I didn't eat rather than sputter about their ignorance.
Read moreI can confirm this place is 100% vegetarian (has always been, and has never served meat), but most items do contain ghee. However, there definitely are some options IF YOU LIST YOUR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS FOR THEM (politely).
As a sidenote: it is unreasonable to go into a restaurant that is run by, and primarily serves immigrants from a country where your particular dietary restrictions are not common and *expect* them to understand your terminology.
(FYI, naan is vegan as long you request no ghee on top)
