Peaceful and delicious - Edit
I shared 3 main meals for lunch with my mum and sister. Each were delicious! The ravioli was my favourite. They also gave us some house-made bread and olive oil (from their olive orchid). Beyond the food, the environment was very relaxing and peaceful and the staff were very friendly.
Read moreThe main meals were around 30 euro each but it was well worth it for the experience. Plus, everything was organic and locally sourced which makes the price very reasonable

Kinda disappointed - Edit
We were really hyped to visit this restaurant. We didn't have the budget to stay in one of the rooms, but we wanted to at least splurge on a dinner here. The dishes all looked really, really beautiful, but they just didn't taste like much. We had a super fancy, tasty dinner at a vegan restaurant in Volterra a few days before at 60 euro less, so it was impossible not to begin comparing the two and feeling a little disappointed.
Read morePs. Our waiter smelled like an entire can of bug spray, and oh boy did we realize why after this dinner. My legs had 20 mosquito bites. But that's part of having a dinner outside in the countryside. Just mentioning it as warning to future guests to bring mosquito repellent :)
Oh, and despite the price it's not that fancy. The guests that stay there also have dinner there, so there's a lot of guests in sweatpants and swimming trunks and stuff. No need to dress up as much as we did.
Pros: Lovely, nice staff

What a wonderful place 🌱🥰 - Edit
So lucky to be able to stay here for a few days on our holiday in Italy 🇮🇹
Read moreA Tuscan villa farm stay set amongst olive groves just outside of San Gimignano, and 100% vegan 🌱 😍
The main building and surrounding grounds are beautiful. Go for a walk, or relax by the pool. The view of the medieval San Gimignano is like a post card.
A stay here includes breakfast and dinner (lunch optional) and the meals are next level. Tasty, healthy, plant based, and inventive.
If you can, spend some time here. If travelling in the area the restaurant is open to book for all meals.

Best meal of our trip - Edit
5 courses, all of them outstanding. Probably the best dessert I’ve ever had! We bought some estate olive oil to bring home to the US with us. Gorgeous space, immaculate vibes, excellent service. Will definitely stay here if we come back to Tuscany.

Wonderful food, excellent service - Edit
I treated myself to lunch here while staying in San Gimignano and thoroughly recommend it. The food is all vegan and organic, much of which would be grown on the property or locally.
Read moreThe property offers beautiful guest accommodation as well as a restaurant. Reservations are recommended to give the kitchen staff notice of people dining in. That said, some people walked in without a reservation and there weren’t any problems.
The staff are super lovely and I really enjoyed walking around the garden and chatting about the property with the host.
The prices are high but the food, wine and the service were so nice that I walked away feeling like it was an investment in my wellbeing 😀

Simple Perfection! - Edit
We stayed here for the week and I can’t recommend this place enough. Every meal was an experience like no other. All the food is prepared lovingly by the chef with fresh local ingredients. You don’t need to be staying here to come to the restaurant so please try to come if you are in the San Gino area! If you do come try to take some time to walk the grounds as the views are simply amazing. Thursday nights are pizza night when everyone gathers outdoors and the chef prepares different vegan pizzas right in front of you. Heaven on earth!

A must-visit! Organic and vegan Italian cuisine! - Edit
I enjoyed lunch and dinner at their restaurant for both days of my travel in Tuscany (as I was also staying at their amazing vegan hotel) and absolutely loved the food, sunny ambience of the terrasse seating and the beautifully restored 14th century villa. Surrounded by nature with friendly staff and a fully vegan and organic menu, it's the dream! Highlights included the handmade ravioli and large vibrant salad for lunch, and the evening menus are not to be missed!

Delicious Amazing Vegan Meal! - Edit
We stopped in for lunch since we weren’t staying at the hotel and they welcomed us in with open arms and our server was also vegan and very passionate about the food. The plates were all pieces of artwork.

We got delicious pumpkin ravioli might be our favorite dish on our Italy trip, kale pesto, and a beautiful rainbow delicious salad, kombucha, and a detox juice. Also got cheesecake to go since we were in a rush. They really do whole food justice, letting the vegetables or fruit stand out.
Only fully vegan place we found near San Gimignano.
It is also an all vegan hotel stay and they also have their own wine and olive oil!
Pricier meal but totally worth it and not pricey for the San Gimignano area. We definitely will come back in the future!!

Not just a restaurant - Edit
The agrivilla isn't just a vegan restaurant, it is a fantastic place to stay and recharge for a few nights if you can find a free room and you can afford it. We only stayed a night because it was the only available day on that week. It was fully booked and we were lucky enough to get the room after contacting them because we could not do it via the website.
Read moreThe dinner and breakfast, enjoyed in their terrace with a beautiful view, were very good and so was the presentation for each dish. The staff were super nice and international. English isn't a problem and they also spoke Italian, German and Dutch, that we know of.
The room we stayed was also fantastic, simple, rustic and well-designed. I loved the stone floor and those details like the bathroom metal handle (see image). The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet and clean.
I really can't say anything bad about the Agrivilla I Pini. The only thing I really dislike was the chair in the dining terrace. It was so uncomfortable.
You should check it out if you have a chance. In addition you can also enjoy a visit to San Gimignano which is a beautiful village 20 min walk away from the villa. Or even better you can explore more of Tuscany, which is a beautiful region, if you love that type of vibe.
Pros: good and creative food, amazing location and room, very good staff
Cons: not for every wallet, need a car to reach

Agrivilla I Pini - culinary well-being for all your senses - Edit
The perfect place to experience back-to-nature cuisine. Once you visit, you will experience a complete package of hospitality that you will remember for years to come.
Read moreFrom simple dishes such as potatoes, oats, or pasta to a special pizza evening every Thursday - you will be excited to see what can really be experienced with pizza! The food is carefully balanced in flavors and textures. One of the important aspects of their cuisine is the way the food is grown in their thoughtfully structured garden. They pay lots of attention not only to the eco and bio origin but also to the energy of the food and how it is produced. They ensure that good energy is shared at every stage of growing and producing food, so the taste and nutritional aspects of the ingredients are of the highest value.
Not to forget their own Hortus olive oil, bio wine, and all the ingredients that Chef Lahiri brings to the plate.
If you want to experience an organic farm concept once in a lifetime in all its glory, this is the place for you. You will bring home a "book" of inspiration that will lead you to a better future. What a lovely place to enjoy the pleasure of wholesome cuisine. And it's not only about the delicious food, also the place itself is an added value experience. The terrace & the inner restaurant are a beautiful place to have a relaxing dinner, inspiring breakfast, or light lunch.
Read moreAt Agrivilla I Pini you can taste gourmet Vegan cuisine. The food is carefully balanced in flavors and textures and also in the flow of how the dishes on the menu follow one another. One of the main aspects of their cuisine is in the way of growing their food. They are not careful only about eco and bio origin, but also about the energy of the food and in what way is produced. They are careful that good energy is shared across each stage of growing and producing the food, and therefore, the taste and the nourishing aspect of the ingredients has the highest value. The love for the whole process is felt and tasted on the final plate.
If you take a holiday there you will notice their beautiful & rich garden and also the work that they put in it, so we can truly appreciate the flow from growing the ingredient to the moment it is served on our plate.
They keep traditional Italian dishes in the heart, which are made with a twist, as they put the usual side ingredients into the spotlight and surprise with the flavors. Dishes with Artichokes, potatoes, and homemade pasta are a real joy. I enjoyed the most in their Thursday Pizza Night, where they serve a variety of homemade, fresh-baked pizza in vegan style - simply delicious and inspiring combinations!
I also liked the rich selection of nonalcoholic drinks especially their teas from fresh herbs from their garden. They produce their own Olive oil with Hortus seal. They also offer a variety of selected bio wines from the region and of their production. They are simply almost self sufficient when it comes to food.

Beautiful Vegan Hotel in Tuscany with Incredible Food - Edit
I stayed at I Pini at the end of April and had a wonderful time! Where to start? The food was incredible—definitely opt for the half board. You’ll be served a healthful and varied breakfast every morning plus multi-course dinner every night. The menu is always changing and is based on the food grown in the on-site garden or what can be locally sourced. Everything is plant-based, gluten-free, and delicious. In addition to the meals, my mom and I did the olive grove picnic (an add-on) which I highly recommend. One of my favorite experiences from any vacation ever. We had a beautiful assortment of food and drinks in the middle of I Pini’s olive grove (they make their own olive oil and wine by the way). I could continue to rave about the food, but I’ll move onto the scenery. It’s what you picture when you think of Tuscany. Absolutely gorgeous views and you can walk into the town of San Gimignano, an old fortress city. The community at I Pini was also great. My mom and I met a lot of nice people during our stay and the meals turned into conversations with other guests. Overall, I’d highly recommend and hope to go back soon!
