This has always been a really weird place. They originally catered to the bodybuilding crown with their weird dry protein pancakes but when they went 100% vegan we tried them out and found the burgers greasy deep fried and bland.

My partner and I went for dinner and got burgers. They were super delicious!! We have also had the pancakes many times which are amazing. The owner is always up for a chat and the staff are very welcoming. Well done on going fully vegan Hale & Hearty!!

Now 100% vegan Hale and Heartys is an owner operated piece of paradise. From the mouth watering pancakes that I would kill if someone tried to steal a bite, to the mind blowing burgers. Friendly welcoming staff and owners. You always feel welcome here. And don't forget about the Gluten Free Vegan pancakes. I dare you to find better ones in Sydney.

We visited in mid June 2020, and it was nice to eat out again after a long time at home! The service was ok but not the best, but the food was nicely presented and very tasty. Unfortunately they do not serve tap water though, so if you want water you need to buy a plastic bottle (not sure if this is the usual thing, or perhaps a covid-19 thing). Overall it was a nice quick stop for a good vegan breakfast.

Delicious food! We were lucky to be driving and came across this restaurant. It looked great from the outside and after looking at the great reviews decided to head in and have some lunch. What a fantastic idea. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly and despite being busy took time to talk to us about the menu and how it all works.
Read moreI decided to get the jackfruit salad while my partner got the beetroot burger with sweet potato fries. The salad was so delicious and super healthy and the burger was also delicious!
We were fortunate to have met the owner Mark who was very passionate about the business.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommend 🙂

I’ve been a few times since they re-opened and had almost everything - salad, burger, pancakes, smoothie were all delish. Their jackfruit is surprisingly chickeny (rather than porky). At the moment they even have vegan croissants from Oh My Days which is such a treat.

I enjoyed the black bean and beetroot vegan burger and the staff are super lovely however the food was pretty slow to come out. Half the menu is devoted to amazing looking pancakes, some with the option of pea protein and refined sugar free - looking forward to trying next time.

A local favourite. They have vegan options across their range of dishes, including great wraps (personally I really like the black bean & beetroot), burgers, pancakes, brekkie bowls and other options. And incredible smoothies.
