uninspired food - Edit
I was excited to try my first vegetarian restaurant. When the cauliflower wings came out we were sure the food was going to be great. My mother had the enchiladas and I had the eggplant parmesan. I started to worry about the food when I noticed that both dishes had the same marinara sauce! The enchiladas just didn't make sense. The beans looked like they've been reheated one too many times. They were stiff and dried out. My eggplant parmesan was cold, all they did to fix the problem was throw it in the microwave. My plate came back with marinara sauce splatters. The eggplant was delicious but the sauce just tasted like ragu. A canned sauce does not belong in an establishment that calls itself a restaurant. To end things off we ordered an almond joy cupcake (which was ok) and a "hostess" cupcake (which tasted more like plastic than the original cupcakes). I will not be returning.
