They were only two vegetarian options and only omelette could be veganized. I mean there is quite literally nothing else but it was blend and the squash was not cooked enough

Zero vegan / vegetarian options - Edit
They no longer offer the salad shown in the photos. There are literally zero vegetarian dishes on the menu, yet alone vegan. So nothing that could be veganized.

Dinner for lunch - Edit
The Warm Vegetable Salad is not on the lunch menu and there was nothing vegan otherwise. I showed the waitress the photo from a Happy Cow review of the warm veggie salad and she said they could make it for us. Very much appreciated.

I'm happy to have food in this small town and the staff at least know what a vegan is and don't scoff at it. The warm vegetable salad was the only vegan option and it was okay. Nice to have real food

There aren’t many places to eat in Haast, and this appears to be the only one that has a vegan dish on the menu. That said, it wasn’t bad. Typical pub atmosphere, friendly staff.
