I came here three times to eat the delicious vegan brownies the owner prepares. He looks very happy every time you ask for the VEGAN brownie, he asked me if I liked them and I was glad to tell him that his brownies are to die for!

There is a separate Menu for vegans, with pretty good breakfast options like scrambled tofu. Also gf options available. I also had the oat milk masala tea which was very good.

Best Vegan Brownie! - Edit
I tried a few Vegan Brownies in Kathmandu but none of them compare to the French Bakery. They also serve it to you hot which was amazing and it was super fudgy and delicious. I also tried the Vegan Carrot cake which was yummy as well. Definitely check them out!

Amazing food, a whole vegan menu and pretty much everything on the menu can be made gluten free (momos, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, garlic bread!) and lots of vegan and gf bakery items. Even have gf Vegemite. Owner has a very detailed knowledge of dietary requirements and thinks a lot of all his products. Also great to that it’s a Nepali local owner.

Visited many times during my stay in Kathmandu as they had the best vegan baked goods I could find! The brownie in particular was delicious. The savoury options are also great with a separate vegan menu. Staff are very friendly also.

I’ve visited this place a couple of times, and the food has always been amazing. They also have great oat milk cappuccinos, fresh salads, and several tofu dishes that I really loved.

We came here multiple times during our stay in Kathmandu. There's a separate vegan menu with lots of options, although we always got the scrambled tofu and big breakfast. Large portion sizes, the coffee is excellent and they have vegan brownies and cakes. The owner is super nice and friendly too!

I only tried their buns and cookies so far, but they were great and relatively affordable. The cookies I think are made from almond meal/flour which gives them the creamy, buttery flavour, but from a vegan source. There were other plant-based ingredients in the buns and cookies such as pumpkin seeds and flax seeds.

I noticed the place because of the many labeled vegan and gluten free cake and brownie options on display. Ended up getting breakfast (maybe not that many vegan options, but the tofu scramble was good) and one of the vegan (and GF) brownies - really, really good. I also got the vegan (and GF) carrot cake to take away - at first I found the texture odd (but am not used to GF), but then found it very tasty. Highly recommended for dessert, would like to go back for a main sometime. Owner was friendly, and very helpful with recommendations.

went here for lunch and had a wonderful meal and good coffee! we had a separate vegan menu which was great and everything was clearly labelled! we had fried momos which were DELICIOUS and a very tasty vegan brownie each. was very reasonably priced and great portions! staff were very friendly - would recommend!

There is a separate vegan menu you can request, which has lots of options. Soy, almond and coconut milk is available for coffee. Lots of cakes are vegan too - we enjoyed the brownie! We got the tofu scramble and big vegan breakfast which was excellent. Really friendly staff/owner too. Def recommend for a coffee and cake, or otherwise for breakfast.

Amazing vegan options and a full separate vegan menu. They offer oat and almond milk, which you can also purchase by the liter. I’m so grateful to have a vegan hot chocolate made with creamy, foamy, oat milk in Nepal. My first here and last on my way to the airport. 🥹☕️

Ask for the vegan menu - it is extensive! They have oat, soya and almond milk and make really good coffee. The portions of food are really generous and so tasty. And the cakes!!!! Huge range of vegan cakes! I got the biscoff brownie and it was delicious. Super nice staff too, I love this place!
