We went to Savannah for the purpose of eating at Fox & Fig, but were distracted on the way by a lively event in the square across from the restaurant. It turned out to be a protest organized by Fox & Fig's workers, who were demanding better working conditions. You can't (in good conscience) be for the ethical treatment of animals and ok with the unethical treatment of laboring humans, so we took our business elsewhere. Here's hoping the restaurant comes correct so we can dine there on a future visit.
