The first place in Mannheim with vegan doner kebab and lahmacun (turkish pizza). Uses in-house-made seitan, soy milk, and soy yogurt. Orginally opened in 2013 as non-veg and switched to all-vegan per Mar 2014 report. SHUT DOWN IN AUG/SEPT 2014.

The Food inn owner just announced on the Food Inn facebook page that his imbiss will be 100% vegan from now on! I would give 5 stars!
Read moreThe Food Inn is a small imbiss conveniently located in the city center of Mannheim. There are seats for about 20 people inside and some seats outside.
I love the vegan kebab there! It is organic and the "meat" is made out of seitan. You can choose between a herb or garlic sauce which are both handmade and delicious. The ingredients are always fresh.
Often there are different vegan cakes or other vegan offers, like lahmacun, chili sin carne etc.
The owner is really friendly!
The prices are okay, considering it is organic.
I recommend everyone to stop by! :)

Nice little 100 % vegan Döner venue with original turkish specialties like Döner Kebab, Lahmacun, Soyaran (vegan Ayran), Baclava, etc. Also has cakes and other special daily items.
Read moreThe owner is the nicest person, extremely friendly and he just made a big step by turning his restaurant 100% vegan. It's a huge step for him and he really needs our support because he works hard (12+ hrs a day) to make a living.
Plus the Döner is delicious :)
