Big Portions & Friendly Vibe - Edit
Falafel Bar hit the spot. Huge portions and a really delicious meal overall. There was a bit of a wait, but it’s clearly a popular place. The veggies were a little stodgy, but everything else was exceptional — especially the hummus and the fresh pita bread.

Yummy!! Menu changed - Edit
Amazing spot! Really delicious falafel & pita! They got a new chef and changed the menu. It is clearly labeled with vegan options but grape leaves, lentils and other items are not available anymore.

Yummy! Great flavors - Edit
Enjoyed this very much. Hubs and I each ordered a falafel sandwich. Glad we got our own because splitting would have been very messy. Fresh made Pita was amazing. Great falafel balls inside and Tahiti. Flavors were amazing. Highly recommend. Expensive just like everything else in Tama-gringo. Nice ac and beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back and will order the same thing. Yum!

Best Falafel in Town - Edit
Tolle Bedienung, Sol und Havy waren toll und sehr zuvorkommend. Leckeres frisches Essen. Die Falafel sind super lecker und als wir nach glutenfreieb Optionen gefragt haben wurde das Pita-Brot für Kartoffeln ausgetauscht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

bland and expensive - Edit
we had humous and falafel, the zatar bread and the lebanese rice and the only thing that was really flavourful was the zatar bread everything else was quite bland and it was expensive.

Very good but expensive - Edit
Really enjoyed the falafel wrap and was happy to see so many vegan options on the menu clearly indicated but it felt very expensive for no reason. 10% service fee was added and then I was encouraged to tip on top of that...wouldn't go back

Best Pita I have ever eaten! - Edit
We found this restaurant using Happy Cow.
Read moreI ordered the Falafel sandwich (which is huge btw). The falafel is excellent, but the star of the meal was honestly the pita bread. It’s light, fluffy, airy and the best tasting pita I have ever eaten. If I could take it home with me on my suitcase, I would!!

Felafel and Houmus! - Edit
We came here one evening as it sells typical mediterranean fare - it was too hot to trawl around all the restaurants trying to locate decent vegan food.

Best falafel ever - Edit
We had a great dinner here. The nan bread is out of this world and the sauces are wonderful… The falafel is so crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside… not greasy. Some of the best falafel I’ve ever had. And being in Costa Rica, I didn’t realize how amazing the vegetables are… And we got a vegetable plate for an appetizer, the raw beets were so delicious and crunchy and the carrots! Welcome to real food! You can also purchase the falafel or nan bread or tahini sauce, as takeout or to go to add to your own home cooked meal.

Fantastic Lebanese-Inspired Mediterranean Joint - Edit
Many options are vegetarian and can easily be made vegan. The festival platter is a perfect meal for two, featuring hummus, babaganoush, and falafel, with fantastic seasoned and grilled pita. My wife and I came back a second time, particularly for the falafel and babaganoush, which were exceptional. Worth a look if you're in Tamarindo, as it's right on the main drag.

Best Falafel in Tamarindo - Edit
This was the first place we ate on our trip to Tamarindo. It turned out to be our favorite. We were thrilled for the vegan options and shared a variety of Falafel, hummus, salad, and pita alongside delicious cocktails and the best coffee according to my mom. We loved the decor, ambiance, and welcoming staff. We would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner, worth every penny. 😋

Huge portions and delicious bread (they make it fresh) I had the garlic pita with tahini sauce (it originally comes with tzatziki but they accommodated me and changed it) and the falafel pita sandwich. It was so big and filling that I couldn’t finish it

Plenty of the vegan options you’d expect at a basic felafel and hummos oriented Mediterranean restaurant. Slow service, reasonably priced. They accommodated our request for no onions in salad by making a fresh one for us.
