Disappointed - Bland food, Negative Owner - Edit
I was very excited to try this place, but sadly had a very disappointing and negative experience. I would have given a 1 star rating, but that is not allowed on a vegan restaurant. But I assure you my experience wasn't even worth 1 star. The food was mediocre - very greasy and dense croissants, bland salad, dry sausage. The building itself is dirty and uninviting. That said, what truly made the experience negatively noteworthy was the owner speaking poorly about established and respected local vegan businesses, venting about area vegans who haven't made it in (even though many have despite it not being the most convenient location for many of us), and the arrogant and casual disregard for respecting paying customers who prefer not to be met with a barrage of personal vendettas this owner felt the need to voice. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. When this feedback was provided to the owner, he took aim at me too. The food isn't worth the trip in even without the impropriety, but considering it, you're definitely better suited spending your money at other local gems that have the food and spirit of veganism nailed.
