Absolutely delicious food! Very creative take on baked potatoes, I had one with soy hack, chickpeas and cream and it was everything I was promised! Beware that all dishes include cheese by deafault but if you ask it will be switched to vegan cheese. The staff was super nice and also prices low for Hamburg standards! It will be the first place I recommend to anyone going to Hamburg!

Hier gibt es superleckere vegane Kartoffelkreationen zum satt werden und einen wirklich tollen Service. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen und wenn man Glück hat gibt es zum Nachtisch auch noch ein Stück veganen Kuchen zum Sojalatte, beim letzten Mal waren wir leider zu spät und der Kuchen aus.

We went here around 7 p.m. during the week. The menu already offers some variations of baked potatoes, but if you don't like them, you can put together your own potato. The varieties cost 6-9€ and the own ones start at 5,50€ for a potato with two toppings, each further topping costs extra. We decided for "Dolce Vita" and "Jamaican Dream". Both were very tasty, but for our taste there could have been less toppings and more potato. Especially the sour cream at the Jamaican Dream was a bit much, but that's also a matter of taste. We had big juice spritzers to drink. All in all very recommendable - especially for vegetarians and vegans! The only thing that seemed a bit cheap were the pepper shakers from Lidl that stood on the table. This would look better when filled up, because otherwise it would always remind you of a cheap fast food restaurant.

We had the „Mexicano“ & „Aristoteles“ and it was so nice. Aristoteles is not vegan, because of Feta and sour cream but I exchanged it for soy mince and vegan aioli. We payed 13.50€ in total. Would definitely recommend.

Heavy on the toppings - Edit
I often don't enjoy kumpir because it's a lot of potato and not much else. But at Erdapfel they go heavy on the toppings, and the toppings and sauces are great. I had the Chutney (and the Jamaican Dream sits in my fridge for now), which includes lentils, soy mince, bell peppers, celery and curry sauce. This combination works really well and I love how comparatively rich in protein this is.
Read moreAll potatoes are veganizable, and a sign clearly states which sauces are vegan. You can also make up your own potato creations. The prices are good for the big portion sizes. You can get the meals as take out as well.

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant, Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend, angenehme Atmosphäre. Portionen sind so groß, dass man mit Sicherheit satt wird und dabei ist's nicht teuer. Jedes Gericht kann auch vegan erhalten werden. Sehr lecker!

Germanized kumpir house. Nice snack option. Around 25 seats outside, many more inside. 10 mins walk f/ central train station thru inner city shopping part of town. All can be made vegan. Garlic, onions and ramson everywhere, ask very, very specifically if you don't like that. All can be made vegan. Two lemonades & two potatoes = 20 bucks, so that's okay. Good bottled lemonades. Across the street of "Chile-Haus".
