I was very disappointed when I visited this cafe.They followed me through the store and did not follow anyone else and made it very obvious that is what they were doing. I was so excited to go here I have been in Bali about a month and realized healthy food option are far and few between here. I hurt myself in a scooter accident so I have stayed longer than originally expected. It was traffic time and anyone who knows Bali and has been here knows that traffic can be a big hassle. So I decided to walk over and hour to come tot his store taking a car would have been the same about of time. At home, I usually shop at whole food and Traders Joes which I really have not found any stores of that caliber here. Originally, we walked in and I was excited and went straight for the cooler section with desserts I noticed there was a man who kept peeking around the corner "no big deal I thought". Then he came and stood in the section" he is here to help I thought" by the time I made it to the shampoo section He literally stood in the makeup section and stared at us the whole time. I told myself he was just a clerk waiting to see if we needed help or had any questions. So I called him over to see if he was able to help us with the sizing of the carbon reduction mask and he looked confused and would not even help with that. HE WAS NO HELP AT ALL! He didn't even seem like he cared to help. I smiled said okay thank you and peeked around the corner to see blonde Australia people filling the store freely shopping in the cooler section pick up items and touching them and look over a this young man solely just staring at us looking at shampoo. finally, I got so upset I walked up to the register and bluntly asked why is your employee following me around the store. I have no bad I have a cast type of thing around my left big toe, and my arm is in a sling. I have no bags to put anything in and I just want to buy healthy food. The girl said the boy was new. but I have worked in a store before in high school. I doubt they are just following me around because he wants to on whatever small salary they are paying and if it was just because he was new then why was there another person following us earlier as well. I just got upset and Left I flew all the way from Phoenix, Arizona in the United States to arrive her and be profiled. Whether it was because I am African American or just simply American I can't be sure but I don't appreciate being profiled and I felt, sad, shame, and emb
